• On October 7, 2023, Israel and its citizens came under an unprecedented terrorist attack. Since that moment the region Israel has been at war with Hamas and their puppeteers in Tehran.

  • Hamas his missed another deadline (no surprise there):
  • President Donald Trump made a social media post about Hamas on Sunday evening, minutes before the deadline for a peace proposal passed.
  • The deadline was 6 p.m. ET Sunday.

• • • In a message on Truth Social, Trump wrote that there had been "very positive discussions with Hamas, and Countries from all over the World (Arab, Muslim, and everyone else) this weekend, to release the Hostages, end the War in Gaza but, more importantly, finally have long sought PEACE in the Middle East."
    • "These talks have been very successful, and proceeding rapidly," Trump said. "The technical teams will again meet Monday, in Egypt, to work through and clarify the final details." (Fox News)
    • However, Trump's post warned that violence could follow if a deal was not reached.
    • "I am asking everyone to MOVE FAST," Trump emphasized. "I will continue to monitor this Centuries old ‘conflict.’"
    • Trump added, "TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE OR, MASSIVE BLOODSHED WILL FOLLOW — SOMETHING THAT NOBODY WANTS TO SEE!" (Fox News)

• We remember: 12/27/85
• Italian authorities stated that receipts uncovered on the terrorists indicated that they had entered Italy a few weeks earlier and had stayed in hotels near Rome. They all had Moroccan passports. It was also reported that a note in Arabic was found on the body of one of the attackers, addressed to ''Zionists'' and announcing, ''the war has begun.'' The note was reportedly signed, ''the martyrs of Palestine.''
• Israeli authorities first blamed the attacks on the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), but its leader, Yasser Arafat, denied the accusations and denounced the strikes. The PLO expressed 'indignation at the criminal act'' and asserted that the attacks were coordinated as part of a ''plot against the Palestinian cause'', intending to force Austria and Italy into severing ties with the Palestinians: 246 PLO officials recalled that Arafat had recently pledged that coordinated armed Palestinian resistance would be confined to Israel and the occupied territories.
• The Rome and Vienna airport attacks were two major terrorist attacks carried out on 27 December 1985. Seven Arab terrorists attacked two airports in Rome, Italy, and Vienna, Austria, with assault rifles and hand grenades. Nineteen civilians were killed and over a hundred were injured before four of the terrorists were killed by El Al Security personnel and local police, who captured the remaining three.

Rome Airport Terror Attack: 12/27/85

• At 08:15 GMT, four Arab gunmen walked to the shared ticket counter for Israel's El Al Airlines and Trans World Airlines at Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport outside Rome, Italy, fired assault rifles and threw grenades. 
• They killed 16 and wounded 99, including American diplomat Wes Wessels, before three of the attackers were killed by El Al security, while the remaining one, Mohammed Sharam, was wounded and captured by the Italian police. The dead included General Donato Miranda Acosta, Mexican military attache, and his secretary, Genoveva Jaime Cisneros.
• Vienna Airport Terror Attack:
  • Minutes later, at Schwechat Airport (Vienna International Airport) in Vienna, Austria, three terrorists carried out a similar attack. Hand grenades were thrown into crowds of passengers queuing to check in for a flight to Tel Aviv, killing two people instantly and wounding 39 others. A third victim died on 22 January 1986, of hand grenade wounds sustained in the attack. First response came from several Austrian police officers, who opened fire on the terrorists. They were supported by two plainclothes El Al security guards who helped to repel the attackers.
  • Over 200 bullets were fired during the fight. The terrorists seized a Mercedes outside the terminal and fled, with Austrian police and El Al security guards giving chase. They killed one terrorist and captured the other two several miles from the airport after a short car chase and gun battle.
  • In all, the two strikes killed 19, including a child, and wounded around 140. Some contemporary reports claimed the gunmen originally intended to hijack El Al jets at the airports and blow them up over Tel Aviv; others concluded that the attack on waiting passengers was the original plan and that the Frankfurt airport was meant to be hit as well.
  • The attacks came after increased security due to recent hijackings and official Interpol warnings that airports might be targeted by terrorists during the holiday season.

Kavanaugh (would-be) assassin gets lenient sentence!

The federal judge who sentenced the defendant found guilty of attempting to assassinate U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh is being criticized by conservatives on social media for the length of the sentence and concerns about Nicholas Roske, who goes by Sophie, identifying as transgender.

Judge Deborah Boardman, a Biden appointee, sentenced Roske to eight years in prison Friday for attempting to assassinate Kavanaugh in June 2022 in the weeks before the Supreme Court’s landmark Dobbs decision.

The sentence is more lenient than what the Department of Justice (DOJ) had sought. Prosecutors said Roske should face at least 30 years, while Roske's defense team had asked for eight. (Fox News)

State and local police stand-by and allow Federal law enforcement to be threatened:

• Uncovered Chicago Police Department radio transmissions reveal that local cops were explicitly ordered to ignore distress calls from federal agents who were pinned down and ambushed by armed rioters in the city’s Brighton Park neighborhood on Saturday morning.
  • This outrageous stand-down directive left brave federal officers to fend for themselves against a coordinated attack, forcing them to fire and wounding one female assailant who had rammed a DHS vehicle with her car.
    • The chaos erupted on Saturday amid escalating protests against President Donald Trump’s aggressive deportation operations in the Windy City. Federal agents from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) were on routine patrol when they were suddenly surrounded and boxed in by at least 10 vehicles during what DHS officials described as a deliberate ambush by “domestic terrorists.”
    • One of the key aggressors, Marimar Martinez, a U.S. citizen with a history of doxxing ICE agents online, allegedly rammed her vehicle into an ICE patrol unit while armed with a semi-automatic weapon.
    • Trapped and under threat, the agents had no choice but to exit their vehicles and fire defensive shots, wounding Martinez. She drove herself to Mount Sinai Hospital for treatment and was later discharged into FBI custody.
