Segment Topic:

  • Wes Moore, in favor of MORE gerrymandering in Maryland and thinks that Baltimore is a safe city!
    • Maryland Gov. Wes Moore said in a Sunday interview that he is actively looking into redistricting options in his state, as the partisan effort expands across the country.
    • “When I say all options are on the table, all options are on the table,” Moore said in an interview on CBS News’s Face the Nation (The Hill).
    • “Governor Wes Moore of Maryland has asked, in a rather nasty and provocative tone, that I ‘walk the streets of Maryland’ with him,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post Sunday morning. “I assume he is talking about out of control, crime ridden, Baltimore? As President, I would much prefer that he clean up this Crime disaster before I go there for a ‘walk.'”
    • “Wes Moore’s record on Crime is a very bad one, unless he fudges his figures on crime like many of the other ‘Blue States’ are doing,” Trump wrote. “But if Wes Moore needs help, like “Gavin Newscum” did in L.A., I will send in the ‘troops,’ which is being done in nearby DC, and quickly clean up the Crime.”
    • The president went on to criticize Baltimore over its crime rate and threatened to rethink federal funding for the rebuilding of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, which was severely damaged after a cargo ship crashed into one of its pillars last year. Moore has repeatedly defended his record on crime, noting the city’s homicide rates have hit a historic low under his tenure.
      • Trump later appeared to reference a New York Times story that reported Moore, who served in the Army and was deployed to Afghanistan, had falsely said he had received a Bronze Star in a White House fellowship application when he was in his twenties. The governor later apologized, calling it an “honest mistake.” Moore eventually received a Bronze Star last year.
    • Wes Moore wants to walk the streets of Baltimore. Is he kidding?
    • If you make a wrong turn coming out of John’s Hopkins, you are in Los Angeles!
    • Why are we paying to rebuild the Francis Scott key Bridge? We didn’t knock it down?

    • The attack prompted Israeli retaliatory strikes on Houthi positions in Yemen.
      • Israel attacks Houthi rebels in Yemen “Last gasp” (Brigadier General Blaine Holt/Newsmax2)
    • Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has pledged to defeat Hamas militarily. According to reports, more than 16,000 Palestinians have already fled Gaza this month. Hospitals in northern Gaza have been warned by Israeli authorities to prepare for mass evacuations as the conflict intensifies.
    • Meanwhile, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency has documented severe shortages of food, fuel, and medicine in Gaza, while reporting that humanitarian convoys face restrictions. Israeli officials, however, maintain they are permitting controlled deliveries through checkpoints and accuse Hamas of diverting aid for military use.
      • Holt argued that Israel’s humanitarian efforts are overlooked.
    • What is the incursion into Gaza going to resemble and does Iran have the resources to prop up Hamas and Hezbollah – like it has done in the past?

Segment Topic:

Jeffrey Lord was along when Newsmax went to Israel!

  • President Reagan, in 1979 — a full year before winning his 1980 election — was asked by Richard Allen, who would later become his first national security adviser — what his view of the then-raging Cold War was. At the time, there was amongst the American left a call for co-existence with the Soviet Union in order to calm the international waters. Reagan disagreed, and his answer to Dick Allen was short and sweet. Reagan’s view, said Reagan himself, was quite simple: “We win, they lose. What do you think of that?”
  • It is very safe to say that this is exactly Prime Minister Netanyahu’s view of dealing with Hamas and terrorism in general. And with reason.
  • It takes nothing to understand this from the Hamas Charter: “Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam invalidates it, just as it invalidated others before it.” (Jeffrey Lord/The American Spectator)
    • Jeffrey, did you have any preconceived ideas about the war in Gaza and if so, what were they?
      • What did you learn during your trip?
      • Did anything surprise you?
  • Kirk Cameron’s Story House Triumph:
    • Silenced by left wing librarians, the Library of Congress steps up. (Jeffrey Lord/The American Spectator)
  • What do you think of Gavin Newsome and Wes Moore’s responses to redistricting in Texas?
    • Ted Cruz lays it out!

Panelist:

Jeffrey Lord, Former Reagan Advisor, Contributing Editor: The American Spectator, Host, Word of the Lord Podcast and frequent Newsmax Contributor

11:06

Segment Topic:

  • John Bolton Under Investigation for Violating Sections of Espionage Act: Report! (The Gateway Pundit)
    • John Bolton is reportedly under investigation for violating the Espionage Act, according to The New York Times.
    • “The investigation into whether John Bolton, President Trump’s former national security adviser, mishandled classified information is trying to determine if he violated certain sections of the Espionage Act, which makes it a crime to illegally retain or transmit national defense information, according to people familiar with the matter who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss details of the case,” The New York Times reported. (The Gateway Pundit/Christina Laila)
      • This investigation was underway during Trump 45 – but was buried by the Biden DOJ to help Biden politically.
    • Why was Bolton’s book so controversial that the Federal Judge which green-lit the publishing of his book warned Bolton that he might have run afoul of breaking national security rules and could be prosecuted for it.
    • What type of evidence was presented to the judge for the search warrant?
    • What is “PROBABLE CAUSE?”
    • FBI agents were sent to Bolton’s home because he allegedly sent “highly sensitive” classified materials to family members from a private, unsecured email server while he was working at the White House during the first Trump Administration.
    • What evidence is the FBI looking for?
  • How does this raid compare with the raid on Mar A Lago?
    • If they find anything, will this evidence be presented to a Grand Jury?
    • What is the timetable for these proceedings?

Panelist:

11:35

Segment Topic:

  • Christian Media surging in the wake of fake news!
    • A new survey from Barna and National Religious Broadcasters finds more and more Americans are turning to Christian media as a source of news -- and moreover, it's mostly younger consumers, the Gen Z types, who are leading the charge. Fake news has met its match.  (The Washington Times/Cheryl K. Chumley)
  • Silenced by left wing librarians, the Library of Congress steps up. (Jeffrey Lord/The American Spectator)
    • The hard, very good fact here is that Americans are decidedly not going to sit quietly and be silenced when it comes to listening to or expressing a conservative point of view. This time around, the target for silencing is Kirk Cameron, and the Library of Congress, bless it, has stood up for Cameron.
    • The role of the Library of Congress in American life is self-described as follows: “The Library of Congress is the storehouse of the nation’s collective memory.”
    • Indeed, it is. And the fact that Kirk Cameron’s Christian children’s book is now safely in “the storehouse of the nation’s collective memory” is a very good thing for sure.
