He points less to vote counting disputes and more to two fundamentals: California’s lack of meaningful voter ID requirements and a chronically disengaged voter base.
- Is a Jack LaLanne membership card adequate voter ID?
- In Los Angeles County, an estimated 60 to 70 percent of registered Christian voters stayed home, helping create an environment where low turnout, not just election administration, can decide outcomes.
- DeRoche argues that regardless of how much fraud may or may not occur, elections become far less vulnerable to misconduct and to accusations of misconduct when voter ID laws are enforced and citizens turn out in force.
Panelist: Craig DeRoche, CEO of Family Policy Alliance and former Speaker of the Michigan House of Representatives.
11:00 Fraud Warning on Trump’s 401(k) Order
A Bronx contractor with three decades of firsthand knowledge of how organized fraud schemes operate warns that President Trump’s August 2025 executive order opening 401(k) plans to the $2 trillion private credit industry is, in his words, “false advertisement” and a “nuclear bomb” that could detonate inside the retirement accounts of as many as 70 million American workers.
- Are there historical parallels to prior financial crises, and what do 70 million American workers need to know about what may be routed into their 401(k) plans?
- James, what is your analysis of the evidence of widespread Medicaid fraud across the country?
Panelist: James McManus, a former associate of the same Lucchese crime family depicted in Goodfellas and the plaintiff in a $75 million federal racketeering lawsuit against private credit firm Fairbridge Asset Management.
11:20 John O’Connor: Any Deal Enabling the IRGC Is a Bad Deal
In a new op-ed for American Greatness, titled “Avoiding TACO,” John O’Connor argues that President Trump casts himself as a dealmaker who will accept only a good deal with Iran, unlike the agreements reached under Obama and Biden. The real question, O’Connor writes, is what actually counts as a good deal.
- O’Connor warns that any Iran agreement seen as overly favorable to the IRGC, one that fails to genuinely foreclose its support for terrorism, would amount to Trump snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
Source: American Greatness
Panelist: John O’Connor, former Assistant US Attorney in Northern California and the nation’s foremost expert on the Watergate scandal. - Oil climbed nearly 1 percent after the new U.S. strikes on Iran.
- Open questions: How will the U.S. response affect negotiations? Are we negotiating with non-IRGC connected regime members, and do some inside the regime welcome a weakening of the IRGC?
Panelist: Joan Leslie McGill, Executive Director for the U.S.-Israel Education Association. Ms. McGill helps shape the organization’s strategic initiatives to inform and educate senior U.S. policymakers about Israel.
9:20 · Lebanon: Hezbollah Turns to Drones
A senior Air Force officer says Hezbollah is relying on drones to prevent further IDF incursions into Lebanon. The officer said the forces understand the only way to succeed is to hunt the drone operators.
- Hezbollah is trying to prevent an Israeli ground maneuver deep inside Lebanese territory by hitting IDF soldiers with drones, according to a senior officer in the Air Force.
- A big advantage the IDF has in southern Lebanon today is that much of the area has been cleared of civilians.
- Egyptian political analyst Magdi Khalil, founder of the Middle East Freedom Forum, gave a sharp critique of Lebanon’s political collapse on his current affairs program.
- Khalil attributed the crisis to the failure of Lebanese leaders, including Samir Geagea of the Lebanese Forces and former president Michel Aoun, as well as the influence of regional actors like Syria, Iran and Turkey.
- He argued that decades of political mismanagement, alliances with Hezbollah, and foreign interference have eroded Lebanon’s sovereignty, weakened its Christian communities, and left the country vulnerable. (The Jerusalem Post)

- Egyptian political analyst Magdi Khalil, founder of the Middle East Freedom Forum, critiqued Lebanon’s political collapse, attributing the crisis to the failure of Lebanese leaders and to regional actors like Syria, Iran and Turkey.
- He argued that decades of mismanagement, alliances with Hezbollah, and foreign interference have eroded Lebanon’s sovereignty. (The Jerusalem Post)
- As a former target of Islamic assassination himself, is the Ambassador concerned that releasing frozen Iranian assets as part of a settlement would let the regime rebuild its terrorist networks, as it has before?
- The Ambassador to tell listeners about the Coalition for a Safer Web and its work battling online extremism.
Panelist: Marc Ginsberg, former U.S. Ambassador to Morocco and President of the Coalition for a Safer Web, which battles online extremism.
10:08 · Founding Principles, the Jones Act and the Globalists
Do our founding principles still exist on Capitol Hill, and have most Americans given up on a government rooted in them? A look at the latest election results in Maine and California and whether they play into the hands of a globalist order.
- In Los Angeles, a Democratic Socialist backed candidate, Raman, advances to a runoff with Karen Bass in the mayoral election.
- As James Madison counseled, the states have the right and are duty bound to interpose for arresting the progress of the evil of any unconstitutional acts by the federal government.
- Kent Strang to explain what the Jones Act is and why he maintains it needs to go by way of congressional action.
- Economic news has been positive, with the CPI figure released in May standing at 4.2 percent. Even with higher energy prices, is this a marked improvement from the Biden years?
- Dr. Bonta, who has written about the financial reach of the globalists, on how America can free itself from that influence.

- Does Iran and the IRGC have the ability to launch a sustained attack against the U.S., Israel or neighboring Gulf states at this point?

Panelist: Captain Brent Sadler, U.S. Navy (ret), Heritage Foundation.
11:06 · Intelligence Analysis: Where Do We Go From Here?

- Hezbollah is relying on drones to prevent further IDF incursions into Lebanon. Why is Iran protecting Hezbollah at this stage rather than enriched nuclear material?
- Where do we go from here? Do we continue the tit for tat activity and call it defensive, reach a negotiated settlement, or does full scale war resume?
Panelist: Paul Davis of the Institute of World Politics. Serving in the U.S. Army, Mr. Davis was the lead analyst for MNA-3 Syria and Lebanon and coordinated with the intelligence community from 2003 to 2005. Trump’s Iran Endgame, Jill Biden’s Book Tour, the Mental Health Crisis on Our Streets | Your News Talk America – June 9, 2026
Show Notes and Rundown
Your News Talk America
Daily Show Notes · Tuesday, June 9, 2026
9:00 · Mental Health, Penn Station, and Health Care Fraud
The show opens on two threads that keep colliding: structural waste in Medicare and Medicaid, and the mental health crisis playing out on city streets, brought back into focus by a knife attack at Penn Station.
- Medicare and Medicaid fraud is a story as old as time, rooted in a structural flaw: uncapped federal spending protected by powerful political forces. What are the hard decisions Washington keeps avoiding?
- David Goldhill argues on X that the fraud has become a convenient political talking point, letting officials look serious about health care costs without confronting the tough structural choices.
- How severe is the mental health crisis on our streets? (Audio Cut 2)
- A knife attack at Penn Station puts the release of repeat offenders back in the spotlight.
- The suspect had at least seven prior arrests, six of them in New Jersey, including aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, drug offenses, assault, domestic assault, and criminal mischief.
- Before the Penn Station attack, the suspect, Deleon, was most recently arrested May 22 in Long Branch, New Jersey on theft and drug paraphernalia charges. (New York Post)

Panelist: Carolyn D. Gorman, a fellow at the Manhattan Institute, where her research examines how policy changes in the U.S. impact individuals with mental illness. @CarolynGorman_

- On the promotional tour, she claims she had no idea of her husband’s mental deterioration before the 2024 debate.
- She has said she thought he was having a stroke during the debate. If so, why was no ambulance called during or after?
- If she was that concerned, why did she allow him to fly to a campaign event in North Carolina after the debate?
- Jake adds context, including his own monologue from August 20, 2019.
Panelists: DIAL Producers and Callers
9:30 · Jake’s Monologue
Jake delivers his Truthful Tuesday monologue.
9:45 · Energy Costs and Permitting Reform
Lower energy costs are within reach if Congress acts. Daniel Turner makes the case that a broken federal permitting system, not a lack of resources, is what drives up household bills.
- Energy costs are projected to rise 25% by 2030 as demand grows, even though the U.S. already has the reserves, the technology, and the workforce to produce more electricity.
- Permitting reform is a kitchen table issue, not a niche concern. A stranglehold on exploration, transportation, and production has artificially raised the cost of living.
- The National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) has become the most litigated environmental statute in the country, with vague, open ended language that invites frivolous lawsuits and subjects routine projects to reviews with no defined endpoint.
- The Endangered Species Act has been used to block development even where land is, by any honest scientific assessment, unsuitable for the species in question.
- Section 401 of the Clean Water Act is used by some states as a veto on pipelines for ideological reasons unrelated to water quality.
- Example: the Mountain Valley Pipeline, a 300 mile privately funded line carrying natural gas from West Virginia to southern Virginia, took nine years to permit.

10:00 · Trump’s Iran Deal and Total Victory Claim

- Trump said the U.S. will declare total victory over Iran within two weeks and predicted oil prices will come tumbling down, speaking during a rally for Republican Senator Lindsey Graham.
- Trump claimed Iran’s negotiators are willing to give the U.S. everything. (The Jerusalem Post)
- Vance told Fox News that any Iran deal is meant to serve U.S. interests first, and that Washington will continue pursuing it whether or not Israel agrees. (The Jerusalem Post)
- The administration signals it intends to move forward regardless of Israeli objections.

Panelist: Heather Johnston, founder, U.S.–Israel Education Association.
10:30 · Visa Vetting and Immigration
Simon Hankinson argues the U.S. should vet all visitors, not just some, and that the technology to improve the Visa Waiver Program already exists.
- Both parties should agree on stronger vetting for the Visa Waiver Program and all visa applicants. The technology is there and should be used more.
- What is a visa, and how does the Visa Waiver Program work?
- Two weeks ago Jake was required by the EU to submit to facial recognition and fingerprints before entering. What does the U.S. require of foreign visitors?
- In a recent Daily Signal piece, Hankinson described a seven step path to ruin in the UK driven by mass illegal immigration. Are the same mistakes being made in the U.S.?
- Earlier in June the EU introduced tougher entry rules for the 27 nation bloc, designed to process undocumented migrants and, where necessary, move them quickly to deportation centers outside the EU. (Fox News)
- Reaction to the riots targeting ICE in Newark, New Jersey, and reports that they are being coordinated, planned, and executed by outside parties.
- Border Czar Tom Homan plans to surge ICE agents into New York City. What should we expect, and has NYPD been told to stand down?

11:00 · Israel and Iran After the Missile Exchange
More than 24 hours after Israel and Iran exchanged missiles, Andrew Harding assesses what the region has learned and where the U.S. and Israel may be drifting apart.
- With the skies quiet for more than 24 hours, what have we learned from the exchange?
- Why is Iran so concerned about Hezbollah in Lebanon?
- How much of a threat are the Houthis, and do they have the weapons to close the Red Sea?
- A possible rift between the White House and Netanyahu. How deep is it, and did Vance send a message to Jerusalem during his Fox News appearance?
- Trump vows total victory within weeks as Netanyahu confirms a ceasefire. What does total victory mean, and is an Iranian surrender realistic?
- How long does Trump’s patience with the regime last? Americans are tiring of repeated two week timelines.
Panelist: Andrew Harding, Policy Analyst, National Security and Indo-Pacific Affairs, The Heritage Foundation.
11:15 · Term Limits and the Ruling Class
Convention of States President Mark Meckler argues that a long entrenched political class, not just the absence of term limits, is what is damaging the country.
- Washington is still run by a long tenured club of politicians who arrived in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
- An insulated ruling class faces no downside for bad policy, producing massive bills, lobbyist carve outs, and a focus on the next election rather than the next generation.
- Modern politicians treat power as a lifestyle of perks, prestige, and fundraising networks rather than public service, and refuse to step aside for generational change.
- Decades long incumbents in both parties signal to voters that elections are a formality and the system is rigged, driving public trust to historic lows.
- Term limits on Congress alone could be dangerous: they shift control to unelected bureaucrats and staff. Real reform pairs term limits with limits on federal agencies and staff.
- Is the 17th Amendment the root of this lifetime membership club on Capitol Hill?
Source: Convention of States Action
Panelist: Mark Meckler, President and cofounder of Convention of States Action. He cofounded the Tea Party Patriots, whose volunteers helped drive one of the most dramatic swings of congressional power in U.S. history.
11:30 · The Future of USMCA
With the July USMCA review deadline likely to be missed, Alejandro Martinez Araiza weighs in on rising trade tensions across North America.
- The United States, Mexico, and Canada appear poised to miss the July deadline tied to key USMCA review and implementation issues.
- A missed deadline raises concerns about renewed trade tension, supply chain uncertainty, labor disputes, and the future of North American economic cooperation.
- Why is the USMCA, a crowning achievement of Trump’s first term, now at risk?

11:06 · The SpaceX IPO
Kerry Lutz of Financial Survival Network argues the SpaceX IPO will not be just another technology offering but a financial event unlike any before it.
- The SpaceX IPO will change the world and investing as we know it.
- Wall Street is completely unprepared for what happens when SpaceX finally goes public. Most investors think it will simply be another large technology offering. They could not be more wrong. This will not be another IPO. It will be a financial singularity.
- For nearly two decades, ordinary investors have watched from the sidelines while private equity firms, venture capital funds, sovereign wealth funds, and billionaire insiders accumulated massive positions in the most revolutionary private company in history.
- The public got to buy the leftovers. SpaceX changes that equation overnight. When SpaceX becomes available to retail investors, it may become the most anticipated investment event since the creation of the public stock market itself.
- SpaceX is no longer just a rocket company. It is at once a launch company, a satellite communications company, a defense contractor, an artificial intelligence infrastructure provider, a global broadband provider, and potentially the transportation backbone for humanity’s expansion beyond Earth.

11:33 · The Spanberger Gun Grab in Virginia
Dr. John R. Lott Jr. on Virginia’s sweeping new gun law, the legal challenges, and the sheriffs and prosecutors refusing to enforce it.
- Virginia enacted sweeping new gun control legislation on May 14, 2026, when Governor Abigail Spanberger signed Senate Bill 749 into law. The law bans the future manufacture, sale, purchase, import, and transfer of defined assault firearms (such as the AR-15) and magazines holding more than 15 rounds.
- So called assault rifles are flying off the shelves.
- Lawsuits: within hours of the signing, gun rights groups filed challenges in both state and federal courts (Santolla v. Katz in the Washington Circuit Court and McDonald v. Katz in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia) to halt the ban.
- Sheriffs and prosecutors: at least 14 Commonwealth’s Attorneys and numerous local sheriffs have stated they will not enforce the ban, citing constitutional concerns.
- State Police clarification: the Virginia State Police said there will be no door to door gun confiscations.
- Background check injunction: a separate, previously enacted universal background check law remains under a statewide permanent injunction following a successful challenge by Gun Owners of America.
- Magazine limits: the law bans magazines capable of holding more than 15 rounds.
- Grandfathering: firearms and magazines legally obtained prior to July 1, 2026 are exempt from forced surrender.
- Penalties: selling, transferring, or manufacturing restricted items is a misdemeanor, carrying up to a year in jail and a $2,500 fine per violation.
