In an opinion piece in yesterday’s NY Post; Charlie Gasparino warned that Wall Street may not be thrilled with Tuesday night’s blue tsunami, but…

Here are the points that Gasparino made:

The damage tariffs did to the GOP in the midterms – not to mention consumers’ wallets.

Ditto for immigration enforcement that went beyond sending criminals back to wherever they came from and which now makes it harder to find workers.

The war with Iran won’t be concluded for some time because Trump can’t decide whether to fully embrace the hawks in his administration or those wanting an immediate negotiated peace. That means its impact on gas prices will remain.

Moreover, the GOP won’t be going back to its more corporatist roots, where leaders focused on tax and regulation cuts and supported free trade.

“MAGA is now 40% of Republican primary voters, and the DSA-types 35% of Democratic Party voters,” said Rich Farley, an author and partner at law firm Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer who summed up the executive-suite dread. “In each case they’re too big to purge.”

They don’t see Trump jettisoning his pro-tariff economic adviser Peter Navarro because Trump believes this stuff really works – even if all the evidence suggests it layered already high prices with a regressive tax and never produced the manufacturing boom he promised. Globalism isn’t making a comeback with this administration.

To be sure, Wall Street knows while Trumpism is a mixed bag, the Dem socialists offer something far worse. True, their obsession with higher taxes and regulation can be thwarted by Trump’s veto pen since the Senate doesn’t have a veto-proof Dem majority. That’s one bright spot.

On election night, the Dem-Com’s and DSA-ers were telling Trump to lawyer-up. What will that do to the U.S. economy?

What effect did the attempts to impeach Trump have on our economy back in 2020?

Gasparino: “So look for hearings into crypto (given the Trump family’s ties to this business) as well as Wall Street’s biggest money maker in years, AI, and whether the technology will eliminate jobs, carpet the nation with ugly, noisy, water-hogging data centers as it sets the stage for bots to rule the world.”

Shares of AI-related companies, until recently, have been outperforming almost everything. A concerted effort by a Democratic-led Congress, stoked by Democratic Socialism, could put the finishing touches on the lancing of what many believe is a bubble in AI-related stocks, crashing an industry that has helped propel markets to record levels.

“It’s the era of overreach,” is how another C-suite type assesses what’s in store for big business no matter who’s in charge.

So far, we have not seen wide-scale job cuts from AI; however, when they do occur, could that give the Dems and DSA a reason to hold hearings on AI and begin the process of government regulation? Could that burst the AI bubble?

In your opinion, has extremism brought us to the point we sit today?

“What Has the Government Done to Our Freedoms?”

It is not just the Federal Government, State and local governments have eroded our freedoms as well. Am I correct Judge?

We pay its taxes, obey its laws and regulations, finance its wars and submit to its surveillance. We are told that all of this is necessary for personal safety, collective prosperity and national security. Yet the government has become totalitarian while individuals have become powerless.

The very institution established to protect our natural rights has become our greatest threat.

The NSA literally captures every keystroke and telephonic conversation of every person in America. It subjects Americans who are suspected of absolutely nothing to continuous surveillance. The distinction between collecting information first and examining it later offers little comfort to someone whose private life has become government property.

Congress has enacted over 5,000 criminal laws and its agencies have produced over 300,000 regulations. No person can reasonably claim to understand all of them. Federal criminal laws are often written so broadly that ordinary Americans can violate provisions without realizing that they have committed a federal crime.

This morning Judge, I decided to ask Google-AI about the language in the Declaration of Independence about the right of the people to tear down a tyrannical government if it deems it necessary. Here is the response I found after I was warned about creating an uprising and insurrection:

“While the Declaration of Independence states that people have a right to alter or abolish a destructive government, historians and legal scholars note that this is an appeal to a revolutionary natural right in extreme circumstances—not a legal right protected by the U.S. Constitution.”

What makes this tragedy particularly infuriating is that neither political party can claim innocence. Republicans and Democrats have alternated control of the White House and Congress while expanding surveillance, increasing federal spending, accumulating debt, multiplying criminal statutes and perpetuating foreign military interventions.

Judge, wasn’t the surveillance state created to gain and retain power over us? Have we merely accepted the reality at this point?

In essence, doesn’t the surveillance state (simply by nature of its existence, keep the sheep under control? We know we are being watched and change our natural behavior because of it?

Is Philadelphia turning into Berlin 1938?

Anti-Israel activists in Philadelphia are demanding that Jewish-owned businesses get out of town ahead of a Sunday protest scheduled for the eve of the anniversary of the Kristallnacht Nazi night of terror.

The Philly Bike On Your Left group, along with two other anti-Israel activist organizations, is calling for a bicycle protest targeting Jewish-owned stores in Philly’s ritzy Rittenhouse Square neighborhood.

Marti Lieberman, 37, co-owner of Mac Mart, told The Post she was stunned to learn that her business was among those being targeted — along with K’Far Cafe, Huda Burger, Goldie, Dizengoff, and Schlesinger’s.

EJ, how can this happen in the United States?

Aren’t the civil rights of Jewish citizens in the U.S. being attacked?

EJ, how does Tuesday night’s election results affect the relationship between the U.S. and Israel?

What is your reaction to President Trump announcing that the U.S. will suspend $4 Billion dollars in aid to Israel? What is behind this decision and how is it being received in Jerusalem?

Inside CHIRLA’s Secret Voter Campaign:

The taxpayer-funded migrant NGO may have violated the law.

Since 2019, California has granted more than $100 million to a left-wing NGO called the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles, or CHIRLA. The group has used those or other resources to fight deportations, address “hate incidents,” and craft what it calls “progressive policies.”

CHIRLA and its political arm, CHIRLA Action, are radical. The nonprofit wants to abolish ICE, expand welfare for illegal migrants, and “roll back immigration enforcement.” Some of its programs, like its “Immigrant Political Power Project,” are explicitly political, targeting “new citizens, Latinos, and English learners” in hopes of creating “a voter base from scratch, with enough power to sway state politics.”

Austen, tell us where this organization came from?

Are they money launderers?

Has anyone from the U.S. Attorney’s Office about your investigation and the evidence you have obtained?

Is this just more of the same from the Peoples Republic of California?
