Jordan retaliates:

The Jordanian air force carried out strikes against groups in Syria in retaliation for Friday’s attack on a Greek Orthodox church in Karak that killed nine people, Jordanian state media reported Monday.

It said the operation “resulted in the killing and wounding of many members of these terrorist groups and the destruction of a number of their vehicles.” It did not specify who the groups were or the precise location of the strikes.

Syrian state TV said there were reports of civilian casualties following Jordanian airstrikes south of the village of al-Masmiyah in the southern province of Daraa.

Earlier Monday, Jordanian authorities arrested three men for last week’s attack, which also wounded more than two dozen people. The arrests followed a dawn shootout, and all three men were wounded, officials said.

The attack struck the Greek Orthodox church during a funeral in Karak, about 55 miles south of the capital, Amman, on Friday. Karak is home to a minority Christian population.

Jordan said on Monday its air force struck what it described as militant hideouts in southern Syria after determining that the suspects behind last week's deadly church attack in the kingdom were linked to "terrorist groups" operating there.

The armed forces said the operation was conducted in coordination with Damascus. There was no immediate comment from Syrian authorities. Five civilians, including women and children, were killed as a result of the Jordanian strikes, a health official told Syria's state news agency.

Houthi attacks ground nearly 90% of Riyadh flights, forcing cancellations, paralyzing nation

The upheaval also spread beyond the Saudi capital. More than 7,800 flights, or 45% of all scheduled departures from Saudi airports, were canceled between October 8 and October 25.

Saudi Arabia and its allies dispatched top security officials to Iran for talks on Monday amid fears of a fresh US-Israeli offensive that could plunge the Middle East into further instability.

What did the Saudi’s hope to gain by talking with the Iranians?

On Monday, the Houthis said they had ‌attacked East-West crude oil pumping stations in Saudi Arabia as well as Riyadh airport, which said it had resumed operations at two terminals a day earlier. There was no immediate Saudi confirmation of the Houthi attacks. (Jerusalem Post)

Iran’s ‘diabolical regime’ is rebuilding nuclear sites right under everyone’s noses, ex-general warns!

Iran is accelerating the recovery efforts of their nuclear sites and ballistic missile program, with construction carrying on at multiple facilities, including Tehran’s infamous Pickaxe Mountain base.

Satellite networks and think tanks continue to document work across Iran’s nuclear and missile network, with a surge of activity recorded especially at the Pickaxe Mountain facility buried more than 300 feet underground near the Natanz atomic site.

Is Iran trying to rebuild or access usable materials to use in its war against the United States and its Middle East neighbors?

When the United States does attack, what do you think will be initial targets?

Is the regime hoping to use a resumption of U.S. attacks as a means to garner sympathy with the Iranian people?

Iran is threatening retaliation:

According to warnings issued by Iranian officials reported by Reuters and IranWire, Tehran plans to expand retaliation beyond U.S. military bases and warships if strikes resume:

Regional Economic & Civilian Infrastructure: Airports, oil and gas pipelines, and communication hubs across Gulf neighbors.

Undersea Internet Cables: Specific plans to target and disable regional undersea communications and internet cables in the Gulf.

Data Centers and AI Facilities: Technology and digital infrastructure nodes warned of by Iranian security officials.

U.S. and Allied Military/Naval Assets: U.S. bases, embassies, regional warships, and maritime traffic/shipping chokepoints like the Strait of Hormuz. (Reuters/CNN)

Iranian forces are now more familiar with US tactics, and it would therefore be harder for the American military to effectively destroy all potential intended targets. However, leaders in US Central Command and the Pentagon have been developing a wide-ranging target list, which includes Iranian energy infrastructure, military sites and nuclear facilities.

Thousands of Americans Jews who fled to Israel amid rising antisemitism in the US could be pivotal in Tuesday’s national election — and most of…

An estimated 3,500 Americans have been making Aliyah — moving to the Jewish state — each of the last two years in the wake of the Oct. 7, 2023 terrorist attacks, and the subsequent war in Gaza and anti-Israel protests across the US.

Did these American Jews leave the United States because they feared for their safety living in a country were Islamists were gaining power?

There are now an estimated 500,000 American Israelis — including about 200,000 from New York City, Marc Zell, the Chairman of Republicans Overseas Israel, told The Post.

He believes that 80-90% of the transplants “vote overwhelmingly Republican” — and they’re also backing Netanyahu in his push for reelection.

EJ, what we are seeing today are hybrid; Islamo-Communist (DSA) candidates who aspire to bring down the Republic and support groups such this Islamic Brotherhood. Do you agree.

When you see Islamists gaining power in the United States; you couple that with an increase in anti-Semitic attacks, American Jews are being forced to flee their own country!

With the midterms just days away and immigration enforcement once again at the center of the political fight, are Democrats repeating one of the…

Ammon Blair, a former Border Patrol agent, Army intelligence veteran, and senior fellow at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, argues that Democrats are using the same tactics that helped undermine federal law enforcement after the Civil War.

Back then, federal troops protecting newly freed Black Americans were painted as tyrants. Today, Blair argues, ICE and Border Patrol agents are being branded as fascists simply for enforcing immigration laws.

His warning: When politicians demonize law enforcement, excuse violent protests, and make it harder for federal agents to do their jobs, everyday Americans pay the price.

Blair can you discuss the growing hostility toward federal agents, the dangers of weakening immigration enforcement, and what's at stake as Americans head to the polls.

What did you think of the segment CBS 60-Minutes aired on Sunday in which they sympathized with an illegal in this country for 25-years – came here on a tourist visa!

DHS noted Diawara was granted his final order of removal by a judge in 2012 and reiterated that the Malian national claimed on an asylum application that “he would be persecuted for his homosexuality if he was returned to his home country — despite being married to a woman he has two children with.

Moussa Diawara, a married father of two, was deported to Ghana in July, more than a decade after he overstayed a tourist visa and claimed refugee status that barred him from being sent back to his home country of Mali, according to the “60 Minutes” profile.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) insists the news program left out an “absurd bit of fraud” from Diawara’s asylum application: His claim that he’s gay.

As AI (Super Intelligence) continues to dominate the headlines, the long-term, economic benefits to our economy cannot be denied!

Anthropic (ANTH.PVT) has publicly filed its S-1 investment prospectus with the Securities and Exchange Commission, giving investors a look at the company's most important financial information ahead of its initial public offering.

The company, which will trade under the ticker symbol ANT, said it generated $16.3 billion in revenue in the six-month period that ended in June, more than the $4.6 billion the company saw in all of 2025.

But the company also spent $9 billion on AI infrastructure in the first six months of the year, ahead of the $7.3 billion it spent throughout 2025.

Roughly one-fifth of Anthropic's revenue came from two customers. The remainder came from a small handful of clients.

According to the S-1, Anthropic saw a net loss of $80.7 billion through June, though the vast majority of that was the result of accounting charges.

The company lost $42 billion in 2025.

The AI giant also plans to spend upward of $430 billion on locked-in cloud computing deals with companies including Amazon and Google, major Anthropic investors, and others in the years ahead. Toss in cancellable and smaller deals, the total reaches as much as $637 billion.

The company's market debut will test investors' appetite for a second public listing by a firm with an already massive valuation. SpaceX (SPCX) went public on June 12 at $150 per share and ended the day 20% higher.

USA Today calls the IPO “90 pages of risk factors.”

Anthropic’s risk factors section starts at page 26 and ends at page 119, totaling 93 pages of possible dangers. For comparison, SpaceX’s risk factors spanned 37 pages, Microsoft's risk factors spanned 40 pages and Coinbase’s spanned 60.

“Some of them are the risks that any company faces, like interest rates might go up, oil prices might go up, electricity prices might go up, stuff like that,” said Jay Ritter, director of the University of Florida’s IPO Initiative.

On page 46, Anthropic writes that “sufficiently advanced AI systems could, if not developed, deployed, and operated with appropriate safeguards, oversight, and security measures, pose catastrophic or existential risks to humanity.” The company also wrote that it has already seen instances of “misaligned” model behavior, meaning that AI systems took actions not directed or allowed by a human. They pointed to an instance in which four models gained unauthorized access to real third-party systems.

“After being unable to abort an impossible task, an early version of a model used a password it found to gain administrator access to a third party’s system, harvested additional credentials, changed system settings, and read one individual’s personal information,” the S-1 says.

What are your concerns with Anthropic AI IPO?

It was a mixed-bag for the Comey camp yesterday!

James Comey was changed by the DOJ with leaking national defense information to the media.

Former FBI Director James Comey is facing his third round of federal criminal charges in just under two years after the Justice Department charged him with unlawfully sharing national defense information and conspiring to disclose it, according to a court filing made public Monday.

The two-count criminal charging sheet, unsealed Monday in the District of Columbia, alleges Comey knowingly and willfully transmitted sensitive information to someone unauthorized to receive it on Oct. 5, 2016, while he was still leading the FBI.

Was this merely a revised charge from the previous one?

Does this now go to a grand jury?

Where will that grand jury be seated?

FRANCE’S CRISIS—WHAT DOES THE EVIDENCE ACTUALLY SHOW? Separating the documented causes of the unrest from the broader debate over Islamism, integration, and government authority.

THE WORD ELLINGER SAYS THE WEST GOT WRONG: Why she argues that translating deen as “religion” obscures important political and legal dimensions.

RELIGIOUS FREEDOM AND CIVIL LAW: How institutions should assess accommodation requests when they conflict with individual rights or generally applicable laws.

FREE SPEECH UNDER PRESSURE: Where criticism of doctrine ends and discrimination against individual believers begins—and why that distinction matters.

THE AMERICAN STAKES: What her argument could mean for schools, public institutions, and policymakers evaluating religious accommodations.

PUTTING HER PROPOSED CORRECTION TO THE TEST: What she would change, what evidence supports it, and how a neutral standard would protect Muslims and members of every other faith equally.
