Segment Topic:
- Claw-back Bill passes House of Representatives!
- “$9 billion, I would say is a good start,” House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., said during debate on the bill.
- When signed by Trump, it will block $8 billion in funding to the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and $1 billion to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting for the remainder of the fiscal year. The dollars had been allocated by Congress for the duration of fiscal year 2025.
- Republicans celebrated it as a victory for cutting off the flow of U.S. taxpayer dollars to what they called “woke” initiatives abroad, while Democrats accused the right of gutting critical foreign aid.
- Rescissions packages are a way for the president to have input in Congress’ yearly appropriations process. The White House sends a proposal to block some congressionally obligated funds, which lawmakers have 45 days to get through the House and Senate.
- Republicans have also been able to sideline Democrats so far, with the rescissions process lowering the Senate’s threshold for passage from 60 votes to 51.
- Should we consider this a good, first start or should we demand more substantial cuts NOW!
- One of three Crypto Bills passes the House with some Dem-Com support!
- Genius Act sets standard for Stable-Coins!
- Do we need another government agency to oversee crypto?
- Trump had agreed to add provisions blocking the creation of a central bank digital currency (CBDC) — like those in the Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act, one of the three crypto bills on the floor — to a second bill, the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act.
- The Digital Asset Market Clarity Act aims to provide the crypto industry with clear rules by drawing a bright line between oversight by the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

- Is Mamdani candidacy getting too much attention?
- Democrats in Congress polling drops below 20% – what do they continue to double down on STOP TRUMP AT ALL COSTS?
- Yesterday, Dem-Coms walked out of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Corey Booker (Spartacus) went ballistic on Chuck Grassley. What do voters think about this kind of behavior?

- Americans don’t want to do those jobs?
- This story from NBC News June 15th: OMAHA, Neb. — Every seat in the waiting area of Glenn Valley Foods was occupied with people filling out job applications early Thursday afternoon, two days after the meatpacking plant became the center of the largest worksite immigration raid in the state of Nebraska so far this year.
- Dozens of prospective employees, many of them Spanish speakers, had been coming in and out of the plant all day. Some were hoping to land a new job; others were coming in for training.
- The scene gave the company’s president, Chad Hartmann, a glimmer of hope amid the chaos that ensued after Tuesday’s raid purged roughly half of his staff — many of whom had been longtime employees of the company, which has been processing boxed beef for more than 15 years.

- Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has revealed that Rep. Salud Carbajal (D-CA) was “part of a violent mob of protestors attempting to obstruct federal law enforcement as they executed a criminal search warrant at a marijuana facility” and that he doxxed an ICE agent by handing the individual’s business card to members of the violent group.
- According to ICE, the doxxed agent was also “left bloody” after the mob hurled rocks at agents who were doing their job.
- The officers were conducting criminal warrant operations at marijuana farms operated by the Glass House Brands Inc. in Carpin-teria and Camarillo when the chaos unfolded.
- Carbajal claimed in an X post that ICE agents were “using unnecessarily aggressive and militarized tactics against local farm workers and peaceful protesters.” (The Gateway Pundit)

- Protesters and even California Gov. Gavin Newsom targeted Vice President JD Vance as he visited Disneyland with his family this weekend. (The Gateway Pundit)

Segment Topic:
What have learned from Butler?
- What have we learned from the GAO Report and the Rand Paul Reports?
- The Secret Service’s “cascade of preventable failures” in Butler, Pennsylvania, nearly cost President Trump his life last year, and the disciplinary penalties were “far too weak,” a Senate report has concluded.
- The report, released Sunday on the anniversary of the July 13 rally in Butler, wrapped up the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee’s investigation into the Secret Service’s “stunning failures” that led to the deadly sniper-style attack in which Mr. Trump was shot in the ear.
- The committee describes “a disturbing pattern of communication failures and negligence that culminated in a preventable tragedy.”
- Thomas Matthew Crooks, the 20-year-old gunman, “was able to evade detection by the country’s top protective agency for nearly 45 minutes” because of limited coordination among security partners, line-of-sight vulnerabilities that were flagged and not addressed and other failures, the report said.
- No one at the Secret Service was fired.
- In another failure at the Butler rally, the Secret Service received classified intelligence about a threat to Mr. Trump 10 days before the assassination attempt but did not share it with agents and law enforcement partners running security at the event, the Government Accountability Office said last week.
- The Senate report also highlighted the failure of intelligence sharing. Its conclusions about the Secret Service’s shortcomings were similar to the GAO report and other reviews by a bipartisan House task force, an independent review panel and the Secret Service’s internal review.
- The Secret Service obtained classified intelligence information about a threat to President Trump 10 days before an attempt on his life at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, but failed to share it with its agents and law enforcement partners in charge of securing the event.
- Although the threat was unrelated to the gunman who shot at Mr. Trump in Butler last year, had the intelligence been shared with officials in charge of securing the rally, it would have changed the security posture for the event, the Government Accountability Office found.
- Charles E. Grassley, Iowa Republican, requested the GAO, a nonpartisan government auditor, conduct a review of the Secret Service’s failure to thwart the assassination attempt, and the auditor spent nearly a year doing so.
- The GAO’s report, which Mr. Grassley released Saturday, a day before the one-year anniversary of the July 13 Butler rally, drew many of the conclusions as those from two congressional panels, an independent review panel and the Secret Service’s internal review.
- “Siloed information-sharing practices prevented officials with significant security responsibilities from having access to threat information that could have changed how they secured the area,” the GAO said.
- Secret Service officials and state and local law enforcement partners who were kept in the dark about the threat told the GAO they would have taken different steps to secure the rally had they known about the threat. (The Washington Times/Linda McPherson)

Segment Topic:
- Elon Musk wants to create a third party!
- Will “America party” damage the Uni-Party or Republican Party more?
- Why not wait until after the midterms in 2026?
- Is a coalition government (EU style) in America’s future?
- Even if Musk files the paperwork to create the party, enormous hurdles loom. Gaining ballot access would be difficult in many states. Drawing in supporters would be daunting. And more broadly, breaking the two-party stranglehold on U.S. politics is easier said than done — as previous flirtations by groups like No Labels and national candidates like Michael Bloomberg taught them before they abandoned the pursuit.
- But assuming for a moment that the world’s richest man marshals his resources to create the new party, what impact could it have? Recent national polls offer a clue about who is more likely to be attracted to it: Republican voters.
- A Quinnipiac University national poll last month tested Musk’s popularity: It found that he’s viewed favorably by 62% of Republican voters but just 3% of Democratic voters. And in battleground Wisconsin, a recent Marquette University Law School poll found that three-quarters of Republicans have favorable opinions of him, compared with 1% of Democrats.
- That suggests Musk has so thoroughly alienated Democrats that there’s little risk of their getting interested in his third party. But among Republicans? That’s a very different story. Both polls also found that Musk is considerably stronger with men than women, and the Wisconsin poll found that he’s more appealing to voters with incomes above $75,000 than those who make less. - Is the FBI still dirty? Is the DOJ still corrupt?
- Axios Exclusive: DOJ, FBI conclude Epstein had no “client list,” died by suicide!
- S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman announces charges against Jeffery Epstein in 2019.
- President Trump’s Justice Department and FBI have concluded they have no evidence that convicted sex offender and disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein blackmailed powerful figures, kept a “client list” or was murdered, according to a memo detailing the findings obtained by Axios.
- The administration is releasing a video — in both raw and “enhanced” versions — that it says indicates no one entered the area of the Manhattan prison where Epstein was held the night, he died in 2019.
- The video supports a medical examiner’s finding that Epstein died by suicide, the two-page memo claims.
- Was the video tampered with?
- Was the date/time stamp tampered with?
- Why it matters: The findings represent the first time Trump’s administration has officially contradicted conspiracy theories about Epstein’s activities and his death — theories that had been pushed by the FBI’s top two officials before Trump appointed them to the bureau.
- As social media influencers and activists, Kash Patel (now the FBI’s director) and Dan Bongino (now deputy director) were among those in MAGA world who questioned the official version of how Epstein died.
- Patel and Bongino have since said Epstein killed himself. But it has become an article of faith online, especially on the right, that Epstein’s crimes also implicated government officials, celebrities and business leaders — and that someone killed him to conceal them.
- The memo says no one else involved in the Epstein case will be charged. (Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence for child sex trafficking and related offenses.)
- Zoom in: According to the memo, investigators closely examined footage of Epstein’s Manhattan prison cell between around 10:40pm on Aug. 9, 2019, when Epstein was locked in his cell, and around 6:30am the next day, when he was found unresponsive.
- The footage, which was reviewed by Axios but couldn’t be verified independently, showed no one entering the area, the administration said. (Axios)
- “The FBI enhanced the relevant footage by increasing its contrast, balancing the color, and improving its sharpness for greater clarity and viewability,” the memo says.
- Investigators found “no incriminating ‘client list’ ” of Epstein’s, “no credible evidence … that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals,” and no “evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties,” the memo adds.
- Will the U.S. have a coalition government in the future?
