- Humanitarian Parole for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans was a program under which citizens of these four countries, and their immediate family members, could be paroled into the United States for a period of up to two years if a person in the US agreed to financially support them.
- Last Thursday, Massachusetts District Judge Indira Talwani said in a hearing that she plans to block the Trump administration’s revocation of parole of aliens under the CHNV program. Judge Talwani’s statements come after the Trump administration formally terminated the program last month and announced that parole for Cuban, Haitian, and Nicaraguans and Venezuelans would expire April 24. - The revocation of parole for aliens who entered through the CHNV program was the latest in a series of moves taken by the Trump administration to end the illegal parole program launched by the Biden administration over two years ago. On his first day in office, President Trump issued an Executive Order, entitled “Securing Our Borders,” which directed DHS to end the CHNV program. Within days, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) issued an internal memo suspending the intakeof any new CHNV applications. In February, DHS announced it was halting any immigration benefits requests (such as work permits) made by CHNV parolees.

- On Sunday evening police announced they arrested 38-year-old Cody Balmer in connection with the fire set to the Pennsylvania governor’s mansion.
- “Balmer will be charged with attempted murder, terrorism, aggravated arson and aggravated assault against an enumerated person,” Fox News reported.
- As TGP reported earlier, an arsonist allegedly set fire to the Pennsylvania Governor’s Residence while Governor Josh Shapiro and his family were asleep inside.

- A Facebook page that appears to belong to Balmer does not feature any recent posts, but displays several critical of Biden during his presidency.
- In September 2021, Balmer appears to have posted a meme on Facebook about the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan. It shows Biden in a car with overlaid text reading: “Get in, loser. We’re leaving Afghanistan.” A second picture of Biden is captioned: “Drives off without you.”

- Unlike the executive and legislative branches, the courts have only their reputation to give them power. With the recent spate of overzealous universal injunctions, some prominent members of Congress are threatening to intervene.
- It was only a matter of time. Activist judges in lower-level courts are pulling a reverse Marbury v. Madison. They are directly challenging the power of the executive and legislative branches, claiming power they don’t have, and are paralyzing the proper function of federal government.

- The parental right “to direct the upbringing and education of children under their control” was recognizedby the U.S. Supreme Court 100 years ago.
- Requires parents to register their children if they choose to homeschool them. This is so the teacher’s unions know which homes to target. It is like an education Gestapo. And you believed our problems would be solved by ending the DOE – inside the Great Satan in Washington.
- Truancy officers will be dispatched to the homes of children who are not registered with the State to be interviewed. This is so they can assess the parents or grandparents influence on them.
- Parents may be required to submit their lesson plans and proof of completed work to the local school district (AKA – The teachers union).
- Parents who fail or refuse to register their children can face 30-days in prison. They are threatening home educators with prison unless they bow to at the altar of satan.

- The U.S. Constitution was crafted in 1787 both to establish a new central government and to limit it. Some of the limitations are direct, some are subtle, and some are hidden. The chief instrument of limitation is the separation of powers, the brainchild of James Madison.
- The late Justice Antonin Scalia called the separation of powers the most unique and freedom-enhancing aspect of the document. Madison himself would later argue that he intentionally crafted the separation so as to enhance friction and even jealousy among the three branches of government, thereby inducing fidelity to its core values, as well as transparency and accountability in the popular branches.
- Thus, Congress writes the laws, the president enforces the laws, and the judiciary interprets the Constitution and the laws. Congress raises taxes and declares war. The president appoints judges and wages war. The judiciary assures that neither Congress nor the president interferes with personal liberty.
- Congress and the president are answerable to the voters. The life-tenured judiciary is not. The purpose of an independent judiciary is to be the anti-democratic branch of the government. Its duty is not to reflect the popular will, but rather to protect life, liberty and property from the whims of the popular branches.
- In the post-World War II era, Congress has attempted to give away some of its powers to the presidency. For example, even though the Constitution declares that only Congress can spend federal dollars, it has often appropriated funds for the president to spend as he sees fit — and presidents in turn have often delegated those spending decisions to folks whom they have hired.

- As well, modern presidents have started dozens of wars without congressional declarations of war, and Congress has looked the other way. Congress even permits the president to raise taxes — so long as he calls them tariffs — and declare an emergency of his own making.
- Can the Congress constitutionally give away some of its powers to the president? The short answer is: NO.

- A few days ago, a seditionist posted a video on Tick-Tock recommending that all ICE and Border patrol agents be shot on-site when conducting operations to round up criminal illegals on the streets of America.
- DHS Secretary (the innocent dog killer) Kristy Noem went on a (Susan Rice like) media tour to promise legal action against the person responsible. She stated that threats or harm against law enforcement will face full legal consequences.
- Noem was outraged about the terrorist threats against her agents; but do you expect any indictments? Do you expect any arrests? Most Americans are already noticing that the commitments made to us prior to the election, about punishing the guilty, are not going to occur.
- Since January 20th, we no longer hear the use of military tribunals to punish the real seditionists, those behind the real shadow government.

Lt. Col. Anthony (Tony) Shaffer (Ret) is a Senior Fellow and President of the London Center for Policy Research and formerly a Senior Fellow of the Center for Advanced Defense Studies (CADS), and creator and producer for National Geographic’s series “Chain of Command”.
Lt. Col. Shaffer was awarded the Bronze Star for the first of his two combat tours to Afghanistan. He was credited for conducting highly complex operational support to NSA, and for playing a critical role in breaking the back of a Taliban counteroffensive in the fall of 2003.
In addition, he was called back to active duty for DESERT STORM/DESERT SHIELD in 1991 to perform special support to Army Intelligence. He has been deployed to Thailand, Germany and New Zealand to support DoD efforts as an active duty member of the Army in addition to his Afghanistan experience.
