10:35

Segment Topic:

  • Elon Musk wants to create a third party!
    • Will “America party” damage the Uni-Party or Republican Party more?
    • Why not wait until after the midterms in 2026?
    • Is a coalition government (EU style) in America’s future?
    • Even if Musk files the paperwork to create the party, enormous hurdles loom. Gaining ballot access would be difficult in many states. Drawing in supporters would be daunting. And more broadly, breaking the two-party stranglehold on U.S. politics is easier said than done — as previous flirtations by groups like No Labels and national candidates like Michael Bloomberg taught them before they abandoned the pursuit.
    • But assuming for a moment that the world’s richest man marshals his resources to create the new party, what impact could it have? Recent national polls offer a clue about who is more likely to be attracted to it: Republican voters.
    • A Quinnipiac University national poll last month tested Musk’s popularity: It found that he’s viewed favorably by 62% of Republican voters but just 3% of Democratic voters. And in battleground Wisconsin, a recent Marquette University Law School poll found that three-quarters of Republicans have favorable opinions of him, compared with 1% of Democrats.
    • That suggests Musk has so thoroughly alienated Democrats that there’s little risk of their getting interested in his third party. But among Republicans? That’s a very different story. Both polls also found that Musk is considerably stronger with men than women, and the Wisconsin poll found that he’s more appealing to voters with incomes above $75,000 than those who make less. (NBC News)

Panelist:

Dennis Kneale, author of The Leadership Genius of Elon Musk. Veteran business journalist Dennis Kneale chronicles Musk’s extraordinary journey, presenting him as a beacon of inspiration. Musk’s unparalleled success as an innovator and entrepreneur is not just a testament to his genius, but a playbook for those daring to dream big.

Dennis is a frequent contributor to Wise Guys on Newsmax.

    • Green to take a mystery job to counter CCP.
      • “While I cannot give the details here, I will be doing something specifically designed to help America compete against the CCP [Chinese Communist Party], but this time in business,” Green explained in his resignation video.
    • A special election will be called by the KY Gov. The election will fall on this year’s election day (November 4th).
    • Green’s district is a hugely “RED district (his seat would appear safe).
  • Elon to fund a new political party (America Party).
    • Will the U.S. have a coalition government in the future?
      • In a sense, it already has (RFK Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard)
    • Is the FBI still dirty? Is the DOJ still corrupt?
    • Axios Exclusive: DOJ, FBI conclude Epstein had no “client list,” died by suicide!
      • S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman announces charges against Jeffery Epstein in 2019.
      • President Trump’s Justice Department and FBI have concluded they have no evidence that convicted sex offender and disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein blackmailed powerful figures, kept a “client list” or was murdered, according to a memo detailing the findings obtained by Axios.
      • The administration is releasing a video — in both raw and “enhanced” versions — that it says indicates no one entered the area of the Manhattan prison where Epstein was held the night, he died in 2019.
      • The video supports a medical examiner’s finding that Epstein died by suicide, the two-page memo claims.
        • Was the video tampered with?
        • Was the date/time stamp tampered with?
      • Why it matters: The findings represent the first time Trump’s administration has officially contradicted conspiracy theories about Epstein’s activities and his death — theories that had been pushed by the FBI’s top two officials before Trump appointed them to the bureau.
      • As social media influencers and activists, Kash Patel (now the FBI’s director) and Dan Bongino (now deputy director) were among those in MAGA world who questioned the official version of how Epstein died.
      • Patel and Bongino have since said Epstein killed himself. But it has become an article of faith online, especially on the right, that Epstein’s crimes also implicated government officials, celebrities and business leaders — and that someone killed him to conceal them.
      • The memo says no one else involved in the Epstein case will be charged. (Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence for child sex trafficking and related offenses.)
        • Zoom in: According to the memo, investigators closely examined footage of Epstein’s Manhattan prison cell between around 10:40pm on Aug. 9, 2019, when Epstein was locked in his cell, and around 6:30am the next day, when he was found unresponsive.
        • The footage, which was reviewed by Axios but couldn’t be verified independently, showed no one entering the area, the administration said. (Axios)
        • “The FBI enhanced the relevant footage by increasing its contrast, balancing the color, and improving its sharpness for greater clarity and viewability,” the memo says.
        • Investigators found “no incriminating ‘client list’ ” of Epstein’s, “no credible evidence … that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals,” and no “evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties,” the memo adds.

Show Open:

BBB is a done deal!

House Republicans: 218 – 214

President Trump is at the height of his political power following Thursday’s passage of his “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” –  capping a remarkable two-week streak of domestic and foreign policy feats that even Democrats are calling impressive.

Trump, 79, will sign the bill fulfilling his major campaign pledges – including to cut taxes on tips, overtime and Social Security benefits – at a pre-fireworks Independence Day party on the White House lawn.

B-2 stealth bombers will fly over the celebration in recognition of their role in the Trump-ordered June 21 US airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear program, which was followed two days later by an equally unprecedented Trump-brokered cease-fire between Israel and Iran.

The commander in chief, riding high on that diplomatic coup, strong-armed NATO nations at the alliance’s annual conference to boost military spending to 5% of their GDP by 2035, after complaining for years that US allies were freeloading off American taxpayers.

He returned home to good news from the Supreme Court, which handed him wins on deporting illegal immigrants to third countries and restricting nationwide injunctions by district court judges — while CBS’s parent company agreed to fork over $16 million for deceptively editing an interview last year with Trump’s election rival, then-Vice President Kamala Harris.

Over the weekend, Canada scrapped a digital services tax against US internet giants under pressure from Trump, followed days later by the University of Pennsylvania stripping honors from transgender swimmer Lia Thomas and the announcement of a pending trade deal with Vietnam – as major stock market indices notched record highs and illegal border crossings hit new record lows.

The Big Beautiful Bill Act also includes $25 billion in funding for Trump’s “Golden Dome” missile defense program, spends more on immigration enforcement, allows tax deductions for domestic car loan interest and — in a major win for New York and New Jersey Republicans — lifts the cap on the amount of state and local taxes that can be deducted from federal returns to $40,000 from the prior $10,000.

New-york-post-collage

  • Permanent extension of much of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act

09:06 AM ET

Show Open:

  • Will the “Big Beautiful Bill” survive another RINO attack?
    • Republicans can afford to lose no more than three votes in either chamber to pass a bill the Democrats are united in opposition to.
    • The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office released its assessment on Sunday of the bill’s hit to the $36.2 trillion US debt pile.
    • The Senate version is estimated to cost $3.3 trillion, $800 billion more than the version passed last month in the House of Representatives.
    • House Freedom Caucus threatens that they will not support Senate version of the “BBB.”
    • RINO Senators want to provide Medicaid for illegals, the House Freedom Caucus demands more substantive cuts. (NY Post)

09:20

Segment Topic:

  • The Senate, during a vote-a-rama on the One Big Beautiful Bill on Monday afternoon, failed to include a provision that would end illegal aliens from fraudulently receiving Medicaid benefits.
    • One Republican, RINO Susan Collins of Maine, actually voted for illegal aliens to continue receiving Medicaid benefits!
    • Four Democrats voted in favor of the Motion.
    • Per Townhall, the vote to remove illegals from Medicaid failed by a margin of 56-44.
    • Removing illegals from Medicaid benefits was one of the key provisions in the bill that the unelected Senate Parliamentarian rejected by applying the “Byrd Rule.”
      • This causes these provisions to require 60 votes instead of a simple majority.
    • This failed vote comes after RINO Thom Tillis, who announced he will not seek reelection after Trump slammed him in a statement, was railing on the Senate Floor against the bill’s cuts to Medicaid for illegal aliens, refugees, and asylum seekers. (The Gateway Pundit)
    • Budget reconciliation, or just “reconciliation,” is a legislative maneuver that allows Congress to pass legislation with only 51 votes in the Senate. Normally, legislation requires 60 votes to pass the Senate.
      • But since reconciliation bills can’t be filibustered, jamming through major legislation using reconciliation is a tool that both Republicans and Democrats have used to pass legislation when faced with slim majorities.
    • The reconciliation process comes with some extra strings attached in the Senate. Since reconciliation was originally supposed to be used to reduce the deficit, the rule is that only provisions directly impacting government spending or taxes can be passed through reconciliation. This means anything going through reconciliation has to directly impact the federal budget—and if it doesn’t, then the Senate can’t pass it through reconciliation.
      • This rule is called the Byrd rule, after Senator Robert Byrd, a Senator from West Virginia who was its principal sponsor. The Byrd rule has been law since 1990, and has been used successfully dozens of times to block so-called “extraneous” (unrelated) provisions that shouldn’t get passed through reconciliation
      • The most debatable of the Byrd rule criteria is whether a provision has a budgetary effect that is “merely incidental.” The Byrd rule gives considerable discretion to the Senate’s Parliamentarian who tells the Presiding Officer how to rule on a point of order—whichever Senator (from the majority party) is in charge of running Senate business that day — to decide what is “merely incidental.” (Indivisible.org)

  • His new book, The Preventive State (55th or 56th book?), Professor Dershowitz addresses the preventive measures that would be constitutionally authorized to prevent a likely disaster based on intel that’s reliable but uncertain.

10:33

Segment Topic:

  • The “Big Beautiful Bill”
    • Do you support the “Big Beautiful Bill”?

(Courtesy NY Post):

  • Both versions will make Trump’s 2017 tax cuts permanent, reduce taxes on tips and overtime, increase border security funding and slash green-energy tax credits passed during the Biden administration — including the $7,500 credit for buying Tesla and other EVs.
  • The marquee legislation will require the Senate and House to reconcile their versions before the bill can be fully approved and go to President Trump for his signature.

Tax cuts

  • Both versions of the bill include a number of Trump’s promised tax incentives — some $3.8 trillion in tax cuts in all — but differ slightly when it comes to raw numbers.
  • The Senate version would allow Americans to deduct as much as $12,500 for overtime pay and up to $25,000 in tip income through 2028 — reductions that would drop for those making $150,000 or more. The House version didn’t put limits on the deductions.
  • The child tax credit would jump from $2,000 to $2,200 per child under the Senate bill, and adjust for inflation after this year. The House version, however, would raise the credit to $2,500 temporarily before lowering it back to $2,000 and adjusting it for inflation.
  • One of the most significant differences in the Senate bill is a provision to permanently expand the standard deduction. The House version would only see it expanded through 2028.
  • Senate lawmakers also raised a tax break for seniors to $6,000 through 2028, whereas in the House bill that figure is $4,000.

Raising the debt ceiling

  • The Senate’s version of the bill would raise the US debt limit by $5 trillion, 20% higher than the House’s proposal of $4 trillion.
  • The higher the debt ceiling, the longer Congress can go without having yet another politically fraught debate about the national debt and government spending.
    • If the Big Beautiful Bill isn’t passed, the federal government is set to run out of borrowing authority in August or September.

Cuts to food stamps spending

  • The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program — food stamps or SNAP — subsidizes food for some 40 million low-income Americans. Both the Senate and House versions would cut what the US government spends on the program.
  • The Senate bill would require “able-bodied adults” to continue working up to age 64, with some exemptions carved out for parents with children under age 14. However, states would be limited in how they can waive the requirements.
  • The House version would require adults, including those with children age six or older, to work in order to qualify for benefits.
  • States would also be required to kick in more of the cost to provide food aid. The changes to the program would take effect in 2028.

State and Local Tax Deduction (SALT)

  • One of the most closely watched provisions of the Big Beautiful Bill Act in the New York City area been the SALT deduction — which caps the amount of state and local taxes taxpayers can write off on their federal income tax returns.
  • The amount is currently capped at $10,000, after Trump’s 2017 tax cuts, but both versions of the bill would boost that to $40,000 for married couples making up to $500,000 per year.
  • However, in the version advanced by the Senate, the cap would increase through 2029 then return to $10,000, while the House version would make the increased cap permanent.

Medicaid

  • Another highly contentious aspect of the legislation has been proposed changes to Medicaid, which provides health services to low-income, disabled and elderly Americans.
  • Under the House version, able-bodied, childless adults would be required to work 80 hours per month to qualify. The Senate bill widens this requirement to include adults with children age 15 or older.
  • The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office estimates the House-passed package will add $2.4 trillion to the US’ deficit over the next decade. It’s still analyzing the expected impact of the Senate version, however.

Show Open:

  • Democrats and Republicans disagree to the extent of the damage to Iran’s nuclear facilities.
    • Why do the Democrats always appear to on the side of the Regime in Iran?
    • Aren’t they the ones (along with Lurch-John Kerry) who did everything they could to encourage Iran to develop their nuclear weapons development and prevented the Israeli’s from taking it out years ago?
    • Aren’t the Democrats the ones who sent billions of cash to Iran -which they used to export terror and extend their nuclear development?
      • So, it appears that the Democrats are angry that Trump destroyed their nuclear program and want to defend the Regime – from what embarrassment?
  • According to the treasonous, Dem-Com Revolutionary Council Senator, Ct. Senator, Chris Murphy: “To me, it still appears that we have only set back the Iranian nuclear program by a handful of months. There’s no doubt there was damage done to the program. But the allegations that we have obliterated their program just don’t seem to stand up to reason.”
    • If President Trump is correct, the Dem-Com’s leaked that preliminary DIA Report to deny President Trump a military victory, but to cover for their allies in Tehran.
      • Why does seem like John-Lurch Kerry is involved?

    • Do you believe that Israel must have received certain guarantees in order to agree to a cease fire and not demand unconditional surrender from Iran?
    • The biggest question; How do you win the peace? That question is squarely on the great silent majority in Iran – correct?
  • Ex-Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy pleads for civil political discourse, warns ‘democracy is at risk’
    • ‘Judges are best protected when the public and our nation realize how central they are to our discourse.’ (Fox News)
  • The Trump administration on Tuesday filed a lawsuit against all 15 federal judges in Maryland over an order blocking the immediate deportation of migrants challenging their removals, ratcheting up a fight with the federal judiciary over President Donald Trump’s executive powers. (NPR)

  • Professor Allan Dershowitz: “Trump’s decision was constitutional and proper”
    • Between 1801 and 1803, President Thomas Jefferson did not get authorization from Congress before waging a war with pirates on the Barbary Coast.
    • Professor how was President Trump’s order to attack Iran last week constitutional and proper?
  • What is your opinion on the War Powers Resolution? Should it be replaced with more updated legislation or should President Trump have considered asking congress to declare war on Iran?
    • We need to get the Squad on record – don’t we?

Panelist:

Alan Dershowitz, Harvard Law Professor Emeritus

Professor Allan Dershowitz: “Trump’s decision was constitutional and proper”

His new book, The Preventive State (55th or 56th book?), Professor Dershowitz addresses the preventive measures that would be constitutionally authorized to prevent a likely disaster based on intel that’s reliable but uncertain.

Many of you are asking questions daily on what we can do to remain constitutional and yet save the country.

This important book offers unprecedented insights into one of the most underexamined developments of our age: the growing magnitude and frequency of cataclysmic threats, coupled with the increasingly effective—but increasingly intrusive—tools intended to predict and prevent them.

The Preventive State: The Challenge of Preventing

Serious Harms While Preserving Essential Liberties (Encounter Books, May 20, 2025).

In it, Professor Dershowitz suggests an overarching jurisprudential framework that would set limits to the ballooning power of what he calls “the preventive state.”

Segment Topic:

Is New York gearing up for a communist mayor?

How did New York get ranked-choice-voting?

The leaked DIA Report.

Panelist:

Jon Glasgow, Host: Sunday Report – Newsmax (10 – Noon)

11:08

Segment Topic:

  • Zohran Mamdani poised to be the next mayor of New York City?
    • Will Eric Adams and Curtis Sliwa join forces and create a save-New York coalition from the Communists?
    • When did RANKED-CHOICE-VOTING begin in New York?
  • CNN and Natasha Bertrand are deep state operatives!
    • “Natasha Bertrand should be FIRED from CNN! I watched her for three days doing Fake News. She should be IMMEDIATELY reprimanded, and then thrown out ‘like a dog.’” (President Trump)
    • Bertrand was complicit in her reporting on Hunter Biden’s laptop.
    • In 2020, Bertrand had reported on a letter signed by more than 50 former senior intelligence officials who said that the allegedly leaked emails from Biden’s computer had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.” (The Republic)
  • Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth called out his former co-worker, Jennifer Griffin as being the worst offender of reporting fake news from the Pentagon.
  • Senate Parliamentarian (Democrat) takes an axe to “One Big Beautiful Bill – but John Thune refuses to fire her. Why?
  • What was it like to work at the White House last week?

Panelist:

David Zere, Host: Breaking Point, Real Americas Voice News

11:33

Segment Topic:

  • The Trump Years: Golden Escalator to Golden Age:
    • In the next few days, Congress will pass Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill” and renew his tax cuts. The legislation also contains enhanced funding for border security and the military, so additional spending cuts are a priority.
    • Democrat Communists do not want a “New Golden Age” for America!
      • Senate Parliamentarian wants to continue Medicaid for illegals!
    • A national debt approaching $37 trillion must be addressed. Consequently, the U.S. House of Representatives’ passing a spending reduction package of $9.4 billion in cuts was a good first step, hopefully followed by more significant spending reductions.
    • All this progress is moving America toward a “Golden Age,” according to President Trump.
    • Not surprisingly, significant threats to the agenda loom, especially judicial overreach, which threatens every Trump policy. Additionally, a radical left-wing is mobilizing agitators, as witnessed first in Los Angeles, and, on Saturday, throughout the country at the “No Kings” rallies.
      • SCOTUS may weigh in today on judicial overreach!
    • Along with constant insults from his political opponents, boycotts of his businesses, two phony impeachments, a special counsel investigation into fictitious “Russian collusion” charges, FBI surveillance and a raid of his home, a mug shot, a sham congressional investigation into the January 6th protests, four partisan criminal investigations, outrageous civil cases, a biased conviction in a kangaroo court, and two assassination attempts, Trump has withstood consistently biased media coverage.
    • In the first one hundred days of his second term, Trump received 92% negative coverage by the three major broadcast networks. This is typical of his media coverage since he descended the “golden escalator.”
    • Despite non-stop hateful treatment, President Trump received a 53% approval rating from the American people in the latest Rasmussen poll. Obviously, the American people admire a tenacious President who rises from being shot to yell, “Fight, Fight, Fight.”
    • We continue to receive good economic news, including low-inflation and the Fed is refusing to lower interest rates!

      • That premise is historically and morally erroneous. Even if we had cops watching us on every street corner or FBI agents virtually in every home, who will keep us safe from them?
      • And who would want to live, who could be private and free, in such an environment?
      • Didn’t we become a police state during COVID lockdowns; (traffic stops – no probable cause)?
