Show Open:

  • Trump tout’s affordability while inflation rages across America on everything from food to furniture to cars! (NY Post/ Taylor Herzlich, Business Reporter at New York Post)
    • With a social-media post that said “STOP LYIN” about there being an affordability crisis, President Trump claims he’s whipped inflation.
    • Republicans say “prices” Dem-Com’s say “Costs.”
      • But consumers are still feeling the squeeze.
      • Target’s prices are up 5.5% nationwide this year and Walmart’s are up 5.3%, according to an analysis by DataWeave, which looked at roughly 16,000 items across each retailer’s website.
      • Amazon’s price hikes have averaged more than 12%, according to a report.
      • After seven months under Trump’s tariffs, Americans are paying more for nearly everything — from a cup of joe and plush living room sofas to children’s toys.
      • But certain groceries, particularly meat, are still up for various reasons. Bananas are up 8.6%, mostly because of tariffs, as almost none are produced domestically. Chicken and eggs have fluctuated because of bird flu.
      • Beef is up across the board — up more than 19% for steak, and 14% for ground beef. Ranchers blame smaller herds because of drought. They are also helped by tariffs on foreign beef, and Trump says he’s considering consumer relief by boosting Argentinian imports.
      • “Putting Joe Biden’s inflation crisis firmly behind us has been a Day One priority for President Trump,” White House spokesman Kush Desai told The Post in a Thursday statement.
      • “Americans are paying less for essentials like gas and eggs, and today the Administration inked yet another drug pricing deal to deliver unprecedented healthcare savings for everyday Americans.”
      • CPI for food stands at 3.1% (double-digit under Biden)

Panelist:

DIAL Producers and Callers

Segment Topic:

Though the Trump Administration has done a lot to dismantle the green energy apparatus, there is a new backdoor threat coming through the courts.

        • In his latest op-ed at RealClearEnergy, energy expert and Power the Future spokesman Larry Behrensexposes how “environmental activists and their trial lawyer allies are attempting to do in the U.S. what the U.N. could not: force a carbon tax on working families.”
        • Larry argues that carbon tax proponents won’t make their case before Congress because they know Americans have rejected the idea — according to one poll, more than half 55% say they are unwilling to pay even $1 more per month on their energy bills for climate action.  (Power the Future/Larry Behrens)

Instead, activists and supporters are hoping for sympathetic judges to help pass on a tax to working families. And they’re counting on the public not to notice before it’s too late.

Panelist:

Larry Behrens, Communications Director at Power The Future, a national nonprofit organization that advocates for American energy jobs

Monologue:

10:08

Segment Topic:

  • If you stand for election integrity, could that mean that you will be targeted by the FBI?
  • We now know factually that former Attorney General Merrick Garland, Lisa Monaco, and Christopher Wray and other FBI Executives approved the opening of Operation Arctic Frost.
    • Heritage Foundation created: “Oversight Project.”
    • Arctic Frost was not an investigation. It was an atrocity disguised as law. It was the deliberate choice of powerful men and women to weaponize the instruments of justice against political opponents. It was the perversion of law enforcement into a machinery of fear. Those who conceived it, approved it, and carried it out are not public servants. They are perpetrators. The Americans who suffered under its grip are victims, and they deserve justice, compassion, and national repentance. (Roger Stone)
    • Arctic Frost was not law enforcement. Arctic Frost was political persecution. The United States Department of Justice under the Biden administration and its obedient enforcers within the Federal Bureau of Investigation transformed investigative power into political warfare. They spied on eight Republican senators including Lindsey Graham, Bill Hagerty, Josh Hawley, Dan Sullivan, Tommy Tuberville, Ron Johnson, Cynthia Lummis, and Marsha Blackburn under the false pretense of national security. According to the Senate Judiciary Committee, the government admits it accessed their tolling data, who they called, when they called, and for how long. It was a monstrous violation of privacy and a direct assault on the separation of powers. No warrants justified it, no legitimate predicate supported it, and no moral conscience could defend it. It was tyranny in its rawest form, the same kind of state sponsored repression that history will forever associate with totalitarian regimes.
    • Newly released FBI records have exposed the staggering scope of this political dragnet. One hundred ninety-seven subpoenas were issued in the Arctic Frost operation, targeting more than four hundred thirty individuals and organizations, including approximately one hundred sixty Republicans, of whom forty five were close allies of Donald J. Trump and about one hundred eleven were alternate electors, campaign staff, and state legislators. Among the entities swept up were Turning Point USA led by Charlie Kirk, the Republican National Committee, and the Republican Attorneys General Association. Investigators even sought phone records from Donald Trump, Mike Pence, and senior aides. These subpoenas primarily sought call metadata, not content, for the critical period from January four through January seven, two thousand twenty-one, surrounding the events of January six. The information was drawn from FBI files released by Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa in October two thousand twenty five, corroborated by whistleblower disclosures and internal DOJ documents as detailed in Grassley’s oversight release.
    • Nearly one hundred Republican linked groups and private individuals were also targeted in the same operation. Activists, nonprofit directors, faith-based leaders, and private citizens were swept into an Orwellian dragnet simply because of their associations and beliefs. The data collected on them was stored, indexed, and shared internally within the Justice Department. Their names were marked as subjects of interest in a campaign designed to freeze opposition to the ruling party. This was not oversight. This was oppression.

Among the high-profile individuals targeted in this campaign of intimidation and lawfare were Michael T. Flynn, Jeff Clark, Peter Navarro, Rudy Giuliani, and Leah Hoopes. These patriots stood with President Trump’s cause when many recoiled. They carried the torch of resistance when others cowered. So, the regime came for them. The regime also came for the organizations aligned with Trump’s campaign and political movement, as well as trusted media outlets including CBS News, Fox News, and Newsmax. None of these entities were safe. None of their advocates spared. The message was clear that dissent will be crushed.

Segment Topic:

  • Whether it is fentanyl, COVID or organ harvesting: The CCP is genocidal.
  • 200,000 Americans killed by fentanyl overdoses over the past three years:
  • 7 million deaths from COVID
    • Investigative journalist Ethan Gutmann estimated that approximately 65,000 Falun Gong practitioners were killed for their organs between 2000 and 2008. More recent estimates suggest tens of thousands of individuals, including Uyghurs, may be killed for their organs each year.
    • UNC School of Medicine (Center for Bio-
    • ethics) reports that: As of today, China claims to perform at least the second- highest number of annual transplants.
    • The number of human organs available for
    • medical transplantation has been augmented by the practice of forcibly harvesting organs without free, voluntary consent from people incarcerated in China’s
    • prison system, principally political and religious dissidents.
    • Medical and human rights organizations in other countries have decried this state practice as a violation of
    • basic human rights, and have criticized the Chinese state and transplant community for abandoning the medical profession’s core ethical commitments in their decision to use execution as a means to organ “donation.”
      • During last week’s trade negotiations, China’s genocide was not mentioned, even though Trump had leverage to use against China.
      • Make America Fentanyl Free’ campaign was established to help President Trump lower overdose deaths!
      • Fentanyl is the leading cause of deaths among Americans ages 18 and 45!
      • Tariffs slapped on China for fentanyl, do NOT have any performance standards attached to it.

Panelist:

Joshua Philipp, Senior Investigative Reporter with The Epoch Times and host of Crossroads.

Jaclyn Stapp, Board Member: Make America Fentanyl Free

11:05

Segment Topic:

  • It has been three days since Tuesday’s election. Has your opinion changed on why we saw the outcome?
    • The Democrats appear to have been emboldened by Tuesday’s results; even crowing about the 2026 midterms. A bit premature perhaps?
    • David, you have been outspoken about the cost of everything being a problem for Trump and the Republicans, this morning’s NY Post:
    • Trump tout’s affordability while inflation rages across America on everything from food to furniture to cars. The CPI is around 3% and yet, those prices driven higher by Biden are never coming down (with the exception of commodities).
    • Will this be THE issue for the 2026 midterms?
  • Rob Carson, what are your callers saying about Tuesday’s results?
    • The Democrat’s refusal to reopen the government has seriously impacted our air transportation system. If the American public is taking these delays and cancellations in-stride, does that not embolden those who keep the government closed and insist on continuing the Obamacare subsidies?
  • Michael, in your book: Reviving Our Republic: 95 Theses for the Future of America, those results did not reflect the views of an electorate concerned of losing 250 years of liberty.
    • Doesn’t the shutdown reflect that Congress is BROKEN? How do you fix it if California is going to send 5 more communists to Capitol Hill?

Michael Bedenbaugh, tell us about your Project 2026 initiative.

Panelist:

David Zere, Host: Breaking Point, Real America’s Voice News

Michael Bedenbaugh, author of Reviving Our Republic

Rob Carson, Host: The Rob Carson Show

11:33

Segment Topic:

  • Chris, the Democrats have used the shutdown the further destabilize America. As of this week, it isn’t illegal immigrants sleeping at airports, it is air travelers and Chuck Schumer does not seem to care.
    • Did the Democrats assume that Latino’s who came to the U.S. from Latin-American countries would be comfortable living under the same socialist-Marxist systems from their home countries? They have been trying for over 30 years to transform this country into the United Socialist States of America.  Did they miscalculate Latino’s search for freedom and liberty?
  • President Trump received a record number of Latino votes last year. Why?
  • Are you concerned that California’s gerrymandering will send more Latino, Democrat Communists to Capitol Hill in 2027?

Panelist:

Chris Salcedo, Host: Chris Salcedo Show (5PM/ET) on Newsmax, Author: The Rise of the Liberty-Loving Latino (available December 9th)

The host of the Chris Salcedo Radio Show heard on AM 700 KSEV, Houston and on 820 AM WBAP in Dallas/Fort Worth and he also hosts “The Salcedo Storm Podcast.”

No one in media uses the term LEFTIST more than Chris!

For decades, leftists in the media and in the Democrat Party have tried to sell a simple equation: to be Latino is to be liberal. They’ve claimed that any resistance to their radical, anti-American agenda—whether it’s open borders, defunding the police, or socialist economic policies—is racist. But that narrative was never true, and millions of Latinos are proving it wrong every day.

The Rise of the Liberty-Loving Latino tells the story mainstream media refuses to cover: how a growing number of Hispanic Americans are standing up for faith, family, freedom, and the Constitution. This movement isn’t theoretical. It’s political, cultural, and spiritual—and it helped re-elect President Donald J. Trump in 2024.

Latinos are done being told what to think. They’re thinking for themselves—and voting like it.

  • The real Mamdani emerged as soon as he was declared winner!
    • CNN’s Van Jones was not a fan of Zohran Mamdani’s victory speech. The easy-going, smooth talking salesman was gone; suddenly replaced by a virulent Islamic revolutionary.
    • Megyn Kelly calls him a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
  • Should Greenwich Village residents worry that they are going to be tossed off the roofs of buildings?
    • Mamdani claims that NYC will be a child-trans sanctuary. That does not jive with how Muslims treat those with varying sexual issues.

Segment Topic:

  • THE fate of President Trump’s wide-ranging tariffs is now in the hands of the SCOTUS.
    • Conservative and liberal justices sharply questioned Solicitor General D. John Sauer on the Trump administration’s method for enacting the tariffs, which critics say infringes on the power of Congress to tax.
  • There were 6 Takeaways from Supreme Court Hearing on Trump’s Tariffs: (The Epoch Times/Sam Dorman and Matthew Vadum)
    • The justices wrestled with how to view Congress’s language and whether Trump was encroaching on congressional authority.
    • Supreme Court justices appeared deeply skeptical about the legality of tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump against most of the world’s nations.
    • Conservative and liberal justices sharply questioned Solicitor General D. John Sauer about the justification of the tariffs, which critics say infringes on the power of Congress to tax.
    • Lower courts say Trump lacked authority under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act to impose reciprocal and fentanyl tariffs on imports from Canada, China, Mexico and other trade partners.
    • Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent attended the arguments, Trump did not. (CNBC)
      • Should their apparent skepticism or tone in questioning be considered a NO vote?
    • Another embarrassing moment for the DEI Justice: Ketanji Brown Jackson, who confused Lincoln with Nixon.
    • The most critical issue for the country: Refund Process!
    • The justices discussed what would happen if the Supreme Court upholds the lower court rulings that struck down the tariffs.
      • Barrett said if the tariffs are invalidated, the reimbursement process “could be a mess.”
      • The Trump administration has collected nearly $90 billion in revenue in fiscal 2025 from the tariffs challenged in this case.
      • Justice Samuel Alito also discussed the complicated process should the court invalidate the tariffs, only for the Trump administration to impose new tariffs using different legal authorities, which would then likely be challenged and work through the court system again.
      • Alito posited that it might make more sense for the court to address whether section 338 of the Tariff Act may justify Trump’s tariffs so the court could “get it over with rather than having this continue for who knows how long while it goes … through the procedures in the lower courts.”
    • It is not clear when the court will release its ruling, but the Trump administration has asked for the decision to be expedited.

    • The tariffs have not yet sown to be inflationary.
    • If the SCOTUS rules against Trump, what would paying back $90 billion dollars to foreign governments do to this country?
  • If John Roberts calls tariffs a tax, why didn’t say so for Obamacare? Why was it OK for Obama to tax and not Trump?
  • Some analysis of the election results blames the high cost of living for Dem wins in New Jersey, New York City and VA. What is the truth about the current state of the U.S. economy?

These actors have exploited structural vulnerabilities in the nonprofit sector—lax oversight, complex funding channels, and even the legal system — to push ideas that are not merely unorthodox but deeply destabilizing.

      • President Donald Trump’s use of the U.S. military to kill persons on speed boats in international waters, or in territorial waters claimed by other sovereign nations — all 1,500 miles from the U.S. — has posed grave issues of due process. The operative language of the Fifth Amendment is that “No person … shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law.” (Judge Andrew Napolitano)
      • Mark Warner (D-Va.), the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, blasted the Trump administration following reports that his Republican counterparts were briefed on the unilateral strikes against alleged drug boats in the Caribbean.
      • In a forceful statement, Warner condemned the reported partisan briefing as “indefensible,” expressing concern about the “troubling precedent” that such a move sets. (The Hill)
    • Trump has threatened to send U.S. troops into Nigeria to respond to ethnic cleansing against cleansing? (Al Sharpton asked Katherine (leverage) Clark Dem Mass. (MSNBC)

Segment Topic:

Election interference by Marxist State Media:

SNL on Saturday night might have been the only balance in election coverage at NBC!

  • 2025 Elections; unbalanced coverage is consistent!
    • A NewsBusters study of 63 mayoral election jokes on five major late-night shows from January 6 to October 29, 2025, finds the hosts overwhelmingly trained their fire on Zohran Mamdani’s opponents—while giving the Democratic Socialist nominee a near-pass. (MRC-Newsbusters/Alex Christy)
    • In the Trump Era, the late-night comedy shows have been looking for any glimmer of light they can find, and over the course of the first ten months of 2025, they think they have found it in New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani. As the industry puts itself squarely in the middle of Mamdani Mania, it has done its part for the campaign by telling 95 percent of its mayoral election jokes about his rivals. Only three out of 63 jokes were about the socialist front-runner.
    • No matter the state, no matter the city; Dem-Com candidates get kid glove treatment!
    • What has the media coverage been like in New Jersey governor’s race?
    • What has the media coverage been like in Governor’s Virginia race?

The comment that got Goldberg in hot water was a lie about how President Trump, according to her, used and autopen to sign a pardon for a crypto bro with connections to his sons. (Newsbusters/Nicholas Fondacaro)

Every official that sanctioned and approved this investigation is likely in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 241 Conspiracy Against Rights. (The Oversight Project)

Segment Topic:

  • Friday’s ‘CBS Mornings’ had just over 90 seconds on Virginia Democrat AG candidate Jay Jones’s texts; but gave about equal time to the Young Republicans group chat messages. This marked the first mention on the broadcast networks after an aside on NBC’s ‘Meet the Press’ and a few seconds on Wednesday’s ‘NBC Nightly News.’
  • MSM finally got around to reporting in Jay Jones text messages, however, they buried the story behind Young-Republican group chat!
    • After weeks ducking the murderous text messages sent by Virginia attorney general candidate Jay Jones, the legacy media appear to have finally found a text scandal they like. The Young Republicans’ text scandal as broken by Politico has given the legacy news the cover it needs.
  • Trump returned to 60-Minutes for a sit-down with Norah O’Donnell and put her in her place.
    • Why would Trump return to 60 Minutes after Leslie Bathroom Stahl debacle in 2020? (Cut 3)
      • Is Gayle (here king, here king) on her way out at CBS?

  • Killed to Order: China’s Organ Harvesting Industry and the True Nature of America’s Biggest Adversary!
  • China organ harvesting; is it genocide?
    • If it is indeed genocide, where is the UN, where is the WHO?
    • Need a new heart or liver etc. fast – and got lots of cash? China’s forced organ harvesting industry can get you what you want. Just don’t ask too many questions about where your new heart came from.
    • For as much as $100,000, you can easily procure a healthy heart in China. The catch? It will likely have been forcibly extracted from a healthy live prisoner of conscience, who will slowly be killed as their organs are removed.
    • Jan Jekielek is senior editor of The Epoch Times and host of the TV show, “American Thought Leaders.”. He’s the author of the upcoming book: “Killed to Order: China’s Organ Harvesting Industry and the TrueNature of America’s Biggest Adversary.”
  • There are also concerns that organs are being removed from patients in the U.S. who still show signs of life. HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. recently addressed this disturbing
    • Chris Smith (R-NJ) has introduced a bill to combat forced organ harvesting in China. Smith said the practice was “murder masquerading as medicine.” Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA) has introduced a companion bill.
      • The powerless Chinese prisoners are usually Uyghurs, who as practicing Muslims don’t drink, or Falun Gong practitioners, who don’t smoke or drink and who live relatively healthy lives. Both minorities are persecuted and imprisoned in China.

10:20

Segment Topic:

  • Did Trump/XI trade negotiations last week let China off the hook with regard to serious human rights violations?
  • To my knowledge, President Trump DID NOT mention China’s organ harvesting genocide in trade negotiations last week. Why not?
    • In your interview with former U.S. Ambassador (at large) for international Religious Freedom: Sam Brownback; he warned that ignoring China’s human rights issues would only be a temporary fix. I played out exactly how Ambassador Brownback predicted.  Here is what he said on American Thought Leaders!
      • Recently, you interviewed Andy Ngo on American thought leaders after the Trump Administration had classified ANTIFA as a domestic terrorist organization.
    • No reporter has been targeted for violence more than Andy Ngo by ANTIFA.
      • Are you still concerned for his safety because Andy does show any signs that he will back-off from his reporting on ANTIFA?
        • Why haven’t we seen any indictments of ANTIFA leaders or those who fund them or was this re-classification just a scare tactic from the Administration?

Panelist:

Segment Topic:

  • AARP is at it again!
  • AARP’s collusion with Democrats to destroy our healthcare system was not enough.
  • New Report Exposes AARP’s Role in Push for Massive Insurance Bailouts!
    • As Congress faces a government shutdown, a new report from American Commitment exposes how AARP—a major lobbying force in Washington—is working hand-in-hand with the health insurance industry to make pandemic-era Obamacare subsidies permanent.  The report, “How AARP Makes Health Insurance Unaffordable for Its Members,”details how AARP received a staggering $9 billion payout from UnitedHealth, the nation’s largest health insurer, and has since used its lobbying arm to push for a $40 billion-a-year extension of supersized Obamacare subsidies—direct taxpayer payments to insurance companies.  American Commitment is urging lawmakers to reject any deal that extends the supersized Obamacare subsidies or any other taxpayer giveaways to the insurance industry.  Might you have some time to have Phil Kerpen on the show?
Phil Kerpen: “Democratic leaders Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries have shut down the government until taxpayers fork over another $40 billion a year to massive health insurance companies….It’s outrageous that they shut down the government to serve the same insurers who fund AARP’s billion-dollar kickbacks.  Congress should say no to bailouts for big insurance.”
    • Phil Kerpen: “Why is that not enough?
    • The truth is, these subsidies aren’t about helping patients—they’re about padding insurance company profits and keeping the AARP-UnitedHealth money machine running.”
    • Phil Kerpen: “It’s shameful that Schumer and Jeffries are demanding a massive ransom for mega-insurers like UnitedHealth—currently under criminal investigation—just to reopen government….
    • Congress must stand up for taxpayers and seniors, not the special interests making billions off them.”

Panelist:

Phil Kerpen, President, American Commitment

Segment Topic:

SNAP money running out!

When the money runs out, could we see mass looting of grocery stores in urban areas?

President Donald Trump on Thursday urged Republicans to end the filibuster in order to end the monthlong government shutdown.

In a late-night Truth Social post, Trump noted that Democrats had tried to eliminate the Senate procedure when they had control of both chambers of Congress and the White House during the Biden administration, but then-Sens. Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema — both of whom have since left the Democratic Party to become independents — helped block the effort.

Trump revived talk of the “nuclear option,” after his returning from his Asia trip this week.

54% of SNAP recipients are non-citizens. (The Gateway Pundit/ Antonio Graceffo).

Are the Democrats nervous that we are going to find out how many non-citizens are receiving benefits?

Instagram and Twitter are abuzz with complaints about how the government shutdown is cutting SNAP benefits, and children in the U.S. are going hungry. Liberals blame Republicans for the shutdown and claim Republicans don’t care about Americans.

Of course, liberals omit the fact that the shutdown happened because Democrats refused to cut funding for illegal aliens. And as for children “going hungry,” only about 4 percent of American household’s face what’s called “food insecurity,” which is not the same as hunger. These households already qualify for federal assistance programs. In reality, there is almost no true hunger in the United States.

If Democrats are truly concerned about these people, they shouldn’t have allowed the government to shut down.

Moving from logic to data, liberal media claim that 89.4 percent of SNAP recipients are U.S.-born citizens and less than 11 percent are foreign-born, including 6.2 percent naturalized citizens, 1.1 percent refugees, and 3.3 percent other non-citizens (such as lawful permanent residents). Therefore, they say, Republicans are wrong to argue that benefits are going to illegals.

New Mexico (for instance) has 20% of their residents receiving SNAP benefits.

Is it time for John Thune to go with the Nuclear Option?

11:20

Segment Topic:

  • SNAP money running out!
  • If SNAP runs out of money, will we see civil unrest?
  • The longer the shutdown continues, are we at risk for rioting and looting of food stores?
    • Are the democrats quietly hoping that we will see the kind of instability that we had back in 2020 (Summer of Love)?
    • How will SNAP running out of money affect those serving in our military?
    • We hear that some active servicemembers are already visiting local food pantries.
  • Latest on the NYC Mayoral race:
    • In the contest for New York City mayor, Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani’s lead has narrowed since early October, but he’s still ahead by double-digits, and his lead holds in a hypothetical two-way race.
    • The analysis below focuses on New York City likely voters.
    • What’s it like in NYC on the cusp of a communist mayor?
    • The latest Fox News Poll, released Thursday, finds Mamdani with a 16-point lead: 47% back him, while 15% favor Republican nominee Curtis Sliwa and 31% go for independent candidate Andrew Cuomo. (Fox News)
    • The investigations into Arctic Frost and Auto-pen scandal are deepening. Could both of these scandals be related?
  • Is John Cornyn’s time in the U.S. Senate coming to an end?
    • Ken Paxton, Congressman Wesley Hunt have announced they will primary the RINO Cornyn.

9:06

Show Open:

Panelist:

  • KJP’s Book Tour Implodes – From White House Spin to Public Spectacle!
    • Former Biden Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s memoir Independent was meant to be a trailblazing tell-all from the first Black and LGBTQ+ person in the role, a story of resilience against party betrayal and media hazing. Instead, it’s become a viral cautionary tale of denial, deflection, and disaster.
      • Forget about Kamala’s word salads, KJP can word salad with the best of them!
    • KJP’s Book Is a 172-Page Denial of Reality: Far from a White House tell-all, Independent is a repetitive excuse factory for Biden’s cognitive decline—claiming the party “abandoned” a scandal-free president while “hazing” Kamala Harris, offering zero insight into Oval Office mechanics and instead blaming America for failing to “repay what it owes” Black women who “built the country.”
    • Sanctimonious Media Takes That Flip-Flop on Every Page: Jean-Pierre denies the press is liberal (citing a 2022 survey showing half are “independents”), blames distrust on “right-wing disinformation” and “belligerent” reporters, then immediately contradicts herself by raging at a “Trump double standard” where journalists supposedly “softball conservatives” while grilling Democrats—proving the book’s scatterbrained logic matches her briefing-room word salads.
    • Victimhood on Steroids, Evidence Not Included: KJP paints every criticism as “Machiavellian” bullying of a Black queer woman, accuses Fox’s Peter Doocy of racism for questioning Harris’s code-switching (which she equates to “sipping a pint of beer”), and fingers Anita Dunn as a backstabbing mentor, yet admits 50 pages later she “wasn’t at the top of my game” and needed months to “find my sea legs,” all without a shred of proof for her conspiracy claims.

Panelist:

Curtis Houck, Managing Editor, NewsBusters wrote a blistering NewsBusters review calling the book “painfully stupid and vapid.”

“Jean-Pierre claimed to be an independent, but ruled out ever voting third-party or for a Republican. She claimed there are good people on the right, but then argued they shouldn’t be seen as friends because they don’t “believe you or loved ones have a right to exist.” She extolled Biden’s preparation, but blamed his debate performance on everything from a cold to jet lag to Hunter Biden’s conviction.

Simply put, Jean-Pierre’s book should have never made it past the first line of edits.” – Curtis Houck, Managing Editor, NewsBusters

    • Trump Asia meetings have wrapped and he now heads back to Washington – but the MSM is not going to acknowledge Trump’s accomplishments.
    • CBS News Purge – who and what is going to replace what has landed on the trash heap.
      • Wednesday was a grim day at CBS News as reportedly around 100 people were axed as part of long-rumored layoffs numbering 2,000 people across its parent company Paramount Skydance. The ranks of those let go were vast and deep with both remaining CBS Saturday Morning hosts shown the door, correspondents with decades of experience (and all women), its Race and Culture unit, and even two entire shows.
      • Larry (stop the hammering) O’Donnell targets Scott Jennings

    • During the Oct. 23 enforcement operation, Border Patrol Chief Gregory Bovino deployed a tear gas cannister — an action that prompted local media outlets and protest groups to file a lawsuit accusing him of violating a temporary restraining order. Segment Topic:

The U.S.-China Trade War Isn’t Cooling; It’s Just Getting Started.  A preview of the Trump-Xi meeting on Thursday.

By the time Trump meets with Xi on Thursday, he might face a deal where the United States needs much less from China.

The latest escalation between Trump and Xi arose after Beijing announced plans to restrict exports of rare-earth minerals, critical materials needed to power a wide range of electronics. (CNN)

Is it all about rare-earth minerals?  If so, Trump has been working around Beijing to secure these much-needed substances (Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand).

The U.S. has been working to expand its supply chains to reduce reliance on China, as Beijing has limited exports of key components in technology manufacturing. (Fox News)

China processes around 90% of the world’s rare earths, which go into everything from solar panels to smartphones, making supply of them to US manufacturers a key bargaining chip.

The last time Beijing tightened export controls – after Trump raised tariffs on Chinese goods early this year – there was an outcry from many US firms reliant on the materials.

If rare-earth minerals are no longer critical to a U.S.-China trade agreement, is Xi in a weaker negotiating position?

But that’s hardly anything new — China, which controls the majority of the world’s supply of rare earth minerals, began putting measures in place to limit foreign access to them over 30 years ago. And as demand for China’s rare earths has increased since, so have the safeguards for allowing other countries to purchase them.

After meeting with Chinese trade negotiators in Malaysia over the weekend, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said he anticipates the high-stakes meeting between Trump and Xi could result in “some kind of deferral” on rare-earth export controls.

US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer, who has led Chinese trade talks with Bessent, said the Treasury secretary told Chinese negotiators at their last meeting, “This is the last time we want to be talking about rare earths.” (CNN)

He’s right. “Some kind of deferral” simply means Xi is still going to be able to use access to rare earths as leverage over the United States any time he is perturbed with actions Trump takes.

And when Beijing inevitably announces new ramped-up export controls of rare earths, Trump will likely respond by threatening higher tariffs.

Scott Bessent told the BBC’s US news partner CBS that this included a “final deal” on TikTok’s US operations and a deferral on China’s tightened rare earth minerals controls.

He also said he did not anticipate the 100% tariff on Chinese goods threatened by President Donald Trump coming into force, while China will resume substantial soybean purchases from the US. (BBC)

China is no longer purchasing soybeans from U.S. farmers.  Which country have they been importing soybeans from?

Vietnam announced “unprecedented” trade access between the countries. Vietnam also agreed to buying Boeing jets worth more than $8 billion dollars from the US and American agricultural goods.

Trump began his whirlwind weeklong Asia trip on Sunday with a flurry of trade and mineral agreements with his Malaysian and Cambodian counterparts, as well as frameworks for trade pacts with Thailand and Vietnam.

The four countries, part of an 11-member regional bloc called the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), pledged to remove trade barriers, provide preferential market access to U.S. goods, and increase purchases of American agricultural, energy products, and aircraft.

They also agreed to cooperate with Washington on export controls, sanctions and access to critical minerals — commitments that appear to strengthen Trump’s standing in a region where Beijing has a growing clout.

How would you assess Trump’s accomplishments on trade (on his Asia trip) so far and will new trade deals have any impact on a deal with China?

What do American countries need from these agreements and how fast do they need them to kick-in?

Panelist:

Kenneth Rapoza, is an analyst at the Coalition for a Prosperous America. A trade association focused on industrial strategy and preserving investments in domestic manufacturing.

Segment Topic:

Segment Topic: (REBROADCAST OF 10/21/25)

The shutdown: It is not about revenues; it is about spending!

  • Americans want low costs and patient-centered care. Obamacare has failed Americans. Excessive regulations and mandates ignore the needs of patients and drive up costs. To hide how unaffordable these bad policies are, the government gives Obamacare subsidies directly to insurance companies.
    • The Biden COVID Credits made the problem worse. The result? Insurance companies profit at the expense of the American taxpayer.
    • Why are ending these subsidies worth fighting for?
    • The subsidies were supposed to be temporary. The Dem-Com’s agreed that they were a temporary COVID subsidy and would sunset.  Why are they going back on their prior commitment?
    • Is it possible to finally end Obamacare and replace it with something which does not fleece U.S. taxpayers?

Panelist:

Brittany Madni, EPIC Executive Vice President, Economic Policy Innovation Center (EPIC)

11:05

Segment Topic: (REBROADCAST OF 10/24/25)

  • Remembering the Iraq War and those brave men and women who fought there:
    • The Last 600 Meters, a 90-minute documentary looking back at the Iraq War, will be broadcast nationally on PBS on the eve of Veterans Day, November 10, 2025 at 10PM (check local listings).
    • There is a hunger for films that celebrate the men and women fighting for our freedom that portray them objectively, without political commentary.
    • The Last 600 Meters focuses on two of the deadliest battles of the Iraq War, in Najaf in the South against the Shiite Mahdi militia, and in Fallujah in the West against Sunni insurgents.
    • The film tells the story of these battles, not through narration, but through the words and deeds of those who fought there. It tells the ground truth. This compelling documentary of urban warfare is newly relevant, in light of the ongoing wars in Gaza and Ukraine.
      • If you could list the three most positive aspects of our war in Iraq, what would they be?

Panelist:

Michael Pack, director and producer of The Last 600 Meters.

Mr. Pack is the President of Manifold Productions and Palladium Pictures. The Last 600 Meters won the highest honors at the G.I. Film Festival in Washington, DC and the Hudson Institute Film Festival in New York City.

11:33

Segment Topic:

Will Trump’s Asia trips have a positive impact on the U.S. economy?  If so, what kind of impact will these trade deals have and when will we notice the impact?

These agreements with Asian countries are agreements to cooperate on access to each other’s markets – rather than a trade agreement with hard numbers on trade; correct?

Have the tariffs imposed by President Trump prior to his Asian trip had an impact on trade negotiations so far?

The news of a basic framework on a U.S.- China deal was met with approval by the markets.

If there is a final deal with Beijing, will the markets respond appropriately or has the bump already been felt?

How do you assess the U.S. – Japan trade deal?

The Fed meets tomorrow to announce its decision on interest rates.  What do you expect?  Will the shutdown and the absence of economic data available to the Fed have any impact on tomorrow’s meeting or announcement?

The Labor Department, however, on Friday released one key report ahead of its meeting: The Consumer Price Index. That report showed that the inflation rate rose at a pace of 3% last month, cooler than expected, as the impact of President Trump’s wide-ranging tariffs have so far been more muted than economists have forecast.  (CBS NEWS)

Tariffs imposed by the president have not yet shown to be inflationary.  Will they at some point?

Panelist:

Anthony Esposito, Founder, CEO, AscalonVI Capitol
